Yes its marketed as a premium type, performance+comfort kind, something like the bridgestone gr90.
Plus rubber as a commodity keep up price, duno ist just cos of tyres.
I vaguely remember about $2.2k for a set from Hurry but that's like 5 mths back.
The tyres are ex, but Hurry can offer you reasonable so not so tl.

(1) If you are gonna remove cats or install DP, dun bother about insulation.
(2) If you are modding ICE, then go for Dynamat. Had it in the E46 cab, partial helped (even with top-up, insulation was lousy)
(3) PSS is good - no horse run. My lao yah hearse running on it.

why wud a 523 need PSS? u want insulation...n unless u driving crazy all the time...u go with ps3...unless u die die nees pss cos u wanna be known n sporty. u know like fitting BBKs for normal road driving...many admit for swee.

MW pls order Michelin Pilot cup sports.... best.... most hardcore then mod Yam 5 kit and put BBK....
if still not happy.... pls get your bodykit installer to paint the letters on your tyre sidewalls....

another tire idiot. pss is 1 up in terms of performance from ps3.
u need to buy the best?
...but no idea best grip in dry means diff compound..means tire need more time to warm up means high lateral grip...means u dun even come close to that in daily driving in a 523....so u r prob better off in a ps3....where it takes less time to warm up..better insulation....n the lateral grip level is still not going to b breach by u....cheaper...n more importantly safer cos it grips better in the wet n it takes less time to warm up.
unless u tell me right now..u need the absolute best model on ur car...thats what i used to do (ie haolian, feel good factor). like most ppl buy BBK on their 523 530 etc....but the only real reason for BBK is that it stops more consitently over longer periods of hard braking than stock brakes....which u never at all in day to day driving.
fromwhat i know about ur needs n how u drive..stick with the ps3. dead quiet..last longer..u still will never breacked its limits in a 523....clears water better..warms up easier for daily drives....lasts longer...n still a damn premium perforamnce tire.

I never said I needed to buy the best, I only wanted something good and quiet and not some lok kok brand..and since when did I say I am buying BBK?
And whats this about 523 530 and simi car? So you are saying a toyota just use lousy tyres can liao?

If it will make u happy, I will stick to my RUNFLATS for my lowly 523

im not hooting u. i m telling u my personal experience when i had that 530. i only when for the best ps2 tires etc..just for feel good. n i realised along the way that i never came even close to its capabilities. it was all for gratficiation. since i had bbks n exos n all that i wanted to hv the 'best ' tires....
but if u saw my xplanation on that corsa thread..u wud know that along the way i learned that in my 530 or gti or even the lamb..i iwll hardly reached or breached the limits of a ps3.
the lamb i will stick to corsas cos i do track them n i know i need them...but im sure u read how long they take to heat up.
if kenn tells me he has the 335..n knowing how he drives, i will ask him go PSS...in his hearse now pss works.
