Seems quite good to me. Not that good in reading dynograph so maybe someone can help me interpret it. Whats the goddamn torque? 43.7nm??? :furious:

Re: Stock 335i Dynograph

Peak TQ is 43.4kgm.

Uncorrected wheel and crank power readings being 255.5hp and 277.6hp respectively.

Corrected crank figs. is 292.9hp.

Take it with a pinch of salt bro... cos diff dyno types (even for the same kind eg. rollar type) will yield different readings, under different environmental conditions, even for the same car model!

Most useful to compare before and after mods... :)

Re: Stock 335i Dynograph

Can anyone explain *exactly* what is meant by "Uncorrected wheel and crank power readings being 255.5hp and 277.6hp respectively.

Corrected crank figs. is 292.9hp." ?

Thanks!

"Fark me...Didnt think it will be higher than stock figures of 400."

Actually, I thought it would be more.... :)

Thanks for posting this!

Re: Stock 335i Dynograph

Nice flat torque curve. The drop-off at the top is a little disappointing though. Might make some sense to log the boost there. Is the ECU limiting the boost or have the turbos fallen out of efficiency?

I strongly feel it is the ECU limiting the boost. A proceeded car buils torque progressively till 7k rpm. I have sat in one and in no way does it feel stock where it tapers down at 5800rpm.

Edmunds.com reviewed the car with the Vishnu package... seems that there is a raise in boost since the torque curve has been shifted upwards. The shape suggests that the turbos are running out of efficiency since peak power is 340 whp @ 6000 with 1000 RPM to go.

Shiv has also submitted a time slip at dragtimes.com. 13.195 @ 111 mph... acceptable ET considering the car's weight. As a frame of reference a bone stock USDM Evo with an average driver runs about 13.0 @ 107 mph.

The 335 with a good set of tires and properly matched turbo setup would be interesting. :yikess:
