No Super or Turbo charger.......only got Ram charger.

Hi Wilman,
Are you referring to this kind of ram charger? Since there isn't any super or tubro chargers for 4 pots, like us.
The e-RAM is a "universal fit" device designed to fit on any intake tube between 3.5" and 2.0" diameter. The e-RAM will work well with your engine, as long as you follow the following guideline.
The e-RAM will provide 5% HP gains on top of any and all modifications you have done, or will do to your engine. This is because the e-RAM is just providing additional air-pressure to your intake (just like a regular turbo or supercharger, but just at a mild level), and your engine management system will easily be able to handle the mild increase in air-density created by the e-RAM when activated at full throttle.
The e-RAM-KIT now comes with everything needed to make any one of three mounting configurations ($299.98 USD + shipping):
E-RAM (for mounting to stock air-box)
E-RAM-INLINE (for mounting as part of an intake tube)
E-RAM-FILTER (for mounting on end of intake)
Shipping to Singapore is either $36 USD or $46 USD depending on the level of shipment you select when ordering through our website with any major credit card.
Since your engine uses a Mass-Air-Flow sensor (MAF) on the intake, we recommend mounting the e-RAM-INLINE (or Super e-RAM-INLINE if there is enough room) as a replacement to a straight section of intake tube leading from the MAF to the throttle-body. This assures that the MAF will not be adversely affected by the thrust, turbulence, and mild pressure generated by the e-RAM unit when it is automatically activated at full-throttle, and assures that you will see the 5% HP gains expected from your e-RAM installation (or 8.5% from the Super e-RAM).
Installing the e-RAM-INLINE in place of this straight section of intake is fairly easy, as it only requires that you cut a short section out of the intake tube, then replace that section with the e-RAM-INLINE by just tightening down the hose clamps on each end. Available space is always the issue with the M3 series cars, but it can be done with a little creativity.
Regardless of what type of aftermarket intake tube you have, or decide to go with in the future, the e-RAM should always be mounted between the MAF and the throttle-body in the manner described above.
The Super e-RAM will follow the same installation guidelines as above, you just will need to make sure that there is enough room to fit the longer Super e-RAM in your engine bay without problems (13" long, and can be made 2" shorter if you cut the e-RAM's rubber step-down adapters that are provided with the unit).
The e-RAM comes with everything you need to install it on your engine (e-RAM, adapters, free Air-Filter, complete wiring harness with micro-switch to place on your throttle-linkage for automatic full-throttle activation, and complete directions). With the micro-switch mounted to the throttle-linkage, you never have to think about the e-RAM. It will always activate any time you floor the gas (just like if it was an “always armed” nitrous system).
Again, no modifications to your engine, ECU, or electrical system need to be made in order to see the 5% HP gains expected from your e-RAM installation (or 8.5% HP gains from the Super e-RAM installation). However, ECU changes that increase your baseline HP will allow the e-RAM to add HP on top of those gains.
We have many M3 and other 3 series customers that have installed the e-RAM, but unfortunately, no dyno results on your particular engine. However, all internal combustion engines behave the same when seeing greater air-density… and the M3 is no different. We have an E36 road racer in Indonesia that placed 2nd in his class last season while using the e-RAM on his car (in the “testimonials” section of our web-site, with a small video attached).
