Is it me...or have i seen the same cab 3 times on the road today?!

Anyone noticed Taxis with HID lights!?!?

I think it was a yellow top cab.

One thing I noticed bout taxis is when one of their bulbs blew the other one will shine brighter than ever.

Thats a piercing one....

Wayne, The remaining bulb should not shone any brighter than usual as they are are connected in parallel. Therefore the current draw will be the the same as before in that bulb and hence the same brightness. What I suspect is that these cabs are really just the outcome of cheap repairs. After a little prang, these guys go to cheap shop for alternative surgery and this leaves the car with glued parts or immitation stuff. Of course the repair does not include headlight adjustment and so you get the irritating high beam that is actually the low beam. :argue:

What to do..... either go faster and get another car to block the light or let that guy overtake you....

Cheers

im not sure i'm right or not but i've heard rumours that this buggers purposely go set it that one side high beam is always on, dono for wat...

1. to see passengers more clearly so more business??
2. to irritate the shit out of everyone on the roads when u block their way??

someone should put a stop to this... stupid traffic police only interested in mod cars & speeding can't they ever learnt that taxis are the cause of 90% of accidents.... and they drive like they're rushing to reincarnate and of course they don't accept it when u horn them even if they're in the wrong only they can horn and high beam others... including making rude gestures..

Actually on the contrary, TP booke quite a lot of Taxis daily............
For Taxis driver now, they kena 2 types of demerit pts, one for the driving licence another for their Cab license that is control by LTA.
Anyone of the license kena revoked, they lose their job. :errr:

Cheers!
