De Gea, Jones, Smalling, Evans, Cleverley, and Welbeck are hardly first team players. Last season if these 6 players starts, it will be a laughter. So I don't think Man Utd was that great despite the scoreline.

But the fighting spirit was very different. Morale is dead low in the Gunner's camp. Rosicky could not even be bothered to turn around and watch the ball after Rooney chipped the freekick in for the third goal. Super bo chup.

The plus point - this is just the beginning for the young lads. One day, when Rooney becomes the older players in the squad, it will be tremendous.

Success = talent + hard work + positive attitude + belief + team spirit.

I noticed that too..for both freekicks, the players in the wall didn't even jump. Rosicky even walked away from the wall just as Rooney struck the ball for the 2nd freekick goal.

Arsenal no longer claim to be big club if sell Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri admits Arsene Wenger - Transfer News - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Beginning of the July, Arsene Wenger said that Arsenal would no longer claim to be a big club if they sold Nasri and Fabregas. Now that they have, the dressing room is feeling it..

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Pool signed Sebastian Coates from Nacional, Suarez's (not Suresh, Jon) country mate. Will sell Poulsen.

Besides Mertesacker, Arsenal is eyeing Rennes french midfielder Yann M'Vila and Napoli's Marek Hamsik. Looks like Bolton's Cahill is a no-go.

Spurs selling Palacios to Stoke, eyeing Scott Parker from Aston Villa. Might sell Crouch to Sunderland or QPR, and Pavlyuchenko..... good chance to sign Cahill from Bolton with swap involving Bassong and Bentley.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

if AW signs Napoli's Hamsik, it will be a real coup.
like for like replacement for Cesc Fab!
Mertesecker goot! efficient n no nonsense!
