Benayoun is a creative asset!
Arteta is good too!
at least AW buys proven players to fill the void.
not Fab n Nasir quality, but can still rise to occasion.
Arteta was in a poorer team, yet played well. he could well realise his potential in AW's guidance.
I still feel Mertesacker is a real coup.

Arteta is an under-rated play-maker, good replacement for Fab. Benayoun is a good player, but contingent on the support he is given......
Owen Hargreaves to Man City is like keeping a used set of wheels on worn-tyres as spare.
Scott Parker is a good catch at GBP 6 m.
And Meireles? WTF?

I doubt Mancini will promise a first team slot. Look at the midfield - Barry and De Jong will take up one slot, Silva, Nasri and Milner already vying for the 3 slots ahead of other good players like Adam Johnson.....
Unless Man City plays a 4-5-1 formation, in which some strikers will be unhappy - so many contenders to Dzeko...... Aguero, Tevez, Adebayor, Balotelli......

but stranger things have happened, like Bellamy rejoining Liverpool and AW signing any players above 17 years old.
maybe we can tweet about Man U signing a up and coming Asian Player to bolster their squad.

What's surprising is that he's signed Arteta who is 29 for 4 years... he didnt even do that to Gallas. Arsenal's policy is to renew players' contract on a yearly basis for anyone above 30.
I guess AW has given in to the pressure.
