Both can't do without Robin

Clap clap clap, true blue Arsenal fan.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Van Persie is so hot, I get sunburnt just watching him. Pity Singapore Pools don't offer odds for scorers for BPL.

Since Arsenal has qualified top of the group in Champs league, there is nothing to play for in the next Olympiacos game, so I think Wenger should field the reserves/youth team against them. No need to take any risks of injuries, especially RVP.

I have always said that RVP should be thrown in jail and released only on matchdays!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Actually I watched the match last night and I must say it was a good team performance. All played well particularly Walcott, Song, Santos, Ramsey, Vermealen and Mertesecker

Haha... good one, Mark. Thanks for answering on my behalf.

Against B.Dortmund, when Robin was clutching his leg on the ground, everyone was worried and cheered when he got up. That's to show how important he is to the club.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I think the key benefit from this Arsenal victory is topping the group. This means that we can rest players (especially RVP), rotate the squad, put in the youth team for the Olympiakos game. Then we can focus on the BPL during that time whilst the other teams in the Champs league and UEFA competitions will still have to go all out to qualify. The ManC game for us comes the week after the Olympiakos game so we need to rest.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Jon, I think Man Utd has a major problem in the midfield - must replace Carrick, Ando and Fletcher with a stronger presence, i/o relying on Rooney.

Man City has De Jong, Toure and Barry to pick in front of Kompany and Lescott.

Liverpool does not have a strong presence in Lucas, but perhaps Gerard and Adam made up for something.

Chelsea lost Essien, hence the vulnerability.
