arsene wenger for england!!!!!!!!

Unlikely to work out, AW can only manage players earning peanuts. The english team boosts the richest Lineup in the world. But his portfolio's in line with England. Always there, never there.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Two-horse-race from now on?

Spurs on third but 11 points behind, with 11 games left.

The fight for 3rd and 4th is more intense.....

Arsenal have really become a one-man team unfortunately. At this stage, we can't afford to lose RvP. I hope he stays and becomes another Arsenal legend.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

can we discuss what actually happened to chelsea??

what is wrong with AVB?...

his confident is sky high now!... will be enough to carry gunner to 4th pl..
or a champion league spot.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I think the senior players such as Drogba, Lampard, Cole, Terry want Mourinho back... so they didnt respect AVB and constantly clashed with him.

I read that Mourinho was spotted looking for a house in London 1-2 weeks ago.

Nothing wrong with him, but if you read the players' body languages, it appears that they did not support him. We saw the same behaviour before Ancelotti's departure.

Chelsea has struggled to retain coaches under Abramovich. Claudio Ranieri was dismissed in May 2004 in his fourth season and replaced by Mourinho, who won the league in two of his three seasons in charge. The Portuguese coach quit after a disagreement with Abramovich, who hired Avram Grant in 2007. Former Brazil and Portugal national team coach Luiz Felipe Scolari started in July 2008, though he didn’t complete a season before being fired and replaced by interim manager Ray Wilkins and then Guus Hiddink. The Dutchman didn’t take the full-time job as he was still overseeing Russia’s national team, and Abramovich brought in Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian, who led Chelsea to the F.A. Cup and Premier League double for the first time in the club’s history, was dismissed in May 2011.
