Too early? Oh, Liverpool season haven't start..tio boh?

I also think too early, even with a 7-point-lead. Still a few months away.

FYI Brendan Rodgers believes Liverpool have the potential to challenge for the Premier League title in the COMING YEARS. This is way way way too early, don't you think?

Cannot predict months ahead, can predict years ahead?

Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool can challenge for the title soon - ESPN FC

Quality over quantity, Jon, and not some history lessons for me, please.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Please don't tell me how well you accomplished before. We are in 2013 in 2 days time. Aiming for 20th title. Realistic or talking cock? Half the season gone, and we have a slight advantage.

At their peaks, who's better?

Gerrard, Lampard or Scholes?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

..Scholes
No horse run!
Bro, please compare him too more establish midfielders .
Scholes vs zidane vs xavi or pirio (spelling....ac Milan player)

Prease lah, Scholes no where near Zidane.

At best on par with Xavi/Iniesta, above Mata/Fabregas, but not sure if Scholes is close to Pirlo.

I am a Utd fan, but have to be fair. Look at the international stage. Scholes is silent when in ENG.

all three are match winners, but Stevie G has the edge in motivating the whole team
to rally a comeback
He tackles better than Scholes and he dictates the game better than Lampard
More complete midfielder/player compares to the other two

Alright agreed! If is on international....Scholes is behind by a mile bro....
all mention here are world cup winner.
If just club level? Zidane at rm, etc?
Ok, we narrow down to....champion league. All at peak, Scholes at 2008

Club level, Zidane at Juventus?

I think it is easier to say the Keane-Scholes-Giggs-Beckham midfield was one of the better formations we have seen in decades.....

Of course, the Portuguese combo of Rui Costa-Deco-Figo-Ronaldo/Simao was still in memory......

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Most dangerous player: Drogba
Most hated opposing team player that I would love to have: Cantona
Most talented player not playing for a big club: Mathew Le Tissier

That's the best for Man U, no fight.
If match with John Barnes, Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler, confirm steam.
Defence wise I will take Adams, Keown, Winterburn and Lee Dixon.
Goalkeeper take Dash, no problem.

Think of it, Peter Schmeichel will be my choice.
But Dash will be a close second.
