I thoroughly enjoyed that match yesterday.... YNWA!!!!

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Chelsea top the table, Special One grinning. Glazers starting to regret getting Moyes instead of that Portuguese

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Everton board members finally realized Moyes like to stay mid table

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Moyes results consistent with the teams he managed ....... SNAFU.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

wow! These must be some 2 decades of pent up frustrations!
totally agree. its been such a long time...hence I'm enjoying the ride.
in the words of Jonleeck's "Sing when you are winning"...i'm happy that Liverpool are on a high right now.

During Souness as LFC Manager days....we saw Liverpool fall into decay.
Everytime we have little steps of improvement, we get beat down. and Heck,
Liverpool have been labelled History Channel so many times. Time for a change.

Im enjoying it.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I sense the unleash of the pent-up frustration to the effect the trumpet blowers lost their sense of tact and sensitivities. Some went on and pissed friends off.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

maybe a clear fine line must be defined?
sing your own team, ok.
criticise other team, not so ok?
post pics of other teams sad plight, a strict no no?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

If tact and sensitivities are absent, and these are replaced by team pride and ego, it makes sense to define lines and boundaries, no?

Assuming that it is the route some wanna pursue. Else, friendship prevails and chuck team pride and ego below.

One should not speak with nobility and hypocrisy synonymously.

Basically, it is simple. Wanna poke fun and humiliate, beware of backlash.

If unintended, exercise tact and sensitivities.

maybe these are now the backlash that Man U gets after years of humiliating Liverpool

That's why I said if the intention is to antagonise one another on one hand, citing historical feud and animosity as reasons, then there is no reason to call for a friendly reconciliation on the other hand.

It makes little sense.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

i do not wish to take this any further, just wanna put across my point that, when Man U were winning everything, nobody cared 2 hoots about pissing off friendships and antagonising one another when careless jokes and cynical comments were made about Liverpool.
Now that Liverpool is a little better, such sensitivities are brought up.

No lah.. Relax.. It's not that Man U fans cannot tahan the relentless poking. When we did it before, pool were languishing in mediocrity for the longest time. That's why it seemed relentless cos pool fans kena season after season damn jialat.

Now we are 2/3 the way into season and Man U fans kena in 8 months what pool fans have had to endure over the last decade. So it would seem overwhelming.

But steady, pool fans deserve their day in the sun for their anguish all these years. But don't forget to make hay while the sun shines..
