Man u may win all the trophies, but doesnt it sound weird that they cant even win liverpool at their home ground...
Man U vs Liverpool is never about the trophy, its the long time rivalry!!
At the 80th minute, saw alot of seats were empty, embarrassed?
Sir Alex face was as red as their seat.
Whatever happens come May, they'll never forget today.
Peace out.....
I agree that Liverpool played a fantastic game. In fact, the score should be 0-4 rather 1-4, given that Man Utd's penalty was not a convincing foul on Park in all honesty. Vidic - the player that Man Utd's defense most looked upon to - played badly, and Ronaldo, Rooney and few Man Utd players looked to have cracked under pressure. On a singular game basis, the top three teams - Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea could hardly distinguish themselves, hence I was shocked by the scoreline. It was supposed to be a tough fight. The bookmakers should be happy - who would have betted 5 goals and above, or Liverpool to have won by 3 goals?
The good thing to Man Utd fans - they have some cushion, and this serves as a wake-up call. Kill all the opponents from now on, and the BPL could still be Alex's. One game is not a stumble, just a hiccup. 10 games more to play, 4 points lead with one game in hand. I hate to imagine what went through in that dressing room of Man Utd after the game (imagine Alex's mood), but this will ensure Man Utd coming back with all the rage and motivation to slaughter - Fulham, Villa, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Spurs, Middlesborough, Man City, Arsenal and Hull. The ball is still in Alex's men's court. Still theirs to lose.
Thankfully, the BPL is a league, not a cup final. Long term consistency counts. As mentioned in the other thread, I have reckoned Liverpool to be a bigger stumbling block than Chelsea in the Champions' League. Respect. But try writing Man Utd off.....

all i can say, the beggar is hungrier. man U players look tired.
+1. Liverpool players won most of the 50/50 ball, and Utd's players look lethargic.
