MRT is smelly - we say so ourselves, when Singaporeans comment how the Indian FTs stink up the carriage with their body odour. And now, a Brit does the same thing, and he finds his facebook account hacked. Irony. Shakespeare couldn't have written it better.

I think it really reflects very poorly on the character of this person. first to judge those he deems as lower in social status, than not to have the moral courage to stand up to what he said.
driving an exotic car may not be the aspiration everyone who is financially well off. I know of several successful people who choose to take public transport or live simply.
he has to be thankful he lives in a country like Singapore, where the govt or the people don't react excessively to simple minded comments.
So the reality is that he will prob carry on with his life without much consequence.
