Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

Taxi driver just passed away... this ferrari driver body shd be flogged

Ferrari crash claims third victim as taxi driver dies

The three-vehicle accident involving a red Ferrari, a taxi and a motorcycle has claimed its third victim.
Taxi driver Cheng Teck Hock, 52, died on Sunday at 7pm at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). His family said he was taken off life support after his heart stopped beating on Sunday evening.

Mr Cheng's death is the third in the vehicular smash near Bugis Junction that had left two dead and two others injured. The motor accident, which occurred around 4.15am on Saturday, counts among one of the worst so far this year.

The other two who died were the driver of the red Ferrari, Mr Ma Chi, 31, a Chinese national; and Mr Cheng's passenger, believed to be a Japanese woman in her 20s.
Poor lady, come here holiday but kenna these type of asshole driver

Agree....f-uped driver is f-uped regardless of nationality.
So many lives are lost and even those left behind their lives are greatly affected
Can't imagine the taxi uncle family losing the pillar of support.

RIP the taxi driver, but the f driver is really f-up to the max. One action, 3 dead!

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

that ferrari driver got off easy. now 2 innocent lives are gone thanks to him. I am not convinced that he had not been drinking, despite his friends claims.

anyway, as drivers, i think this is a clear reminder to us on the responsibility we have to be safe on the roads. not just for ourselves, but for others too.

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

I do not feel sorry for e PRC rich f--k as he has disguarded the red traffic light (not to mention there's orange b4 red too), thinking he is driving in his home country where killing someone is better than e person is hurt but alive.

My assessment (from e impacted damage) is he has totally no intention nor even tried to slow down/stop at all when e light turn orange... given speed travelled over distance over time taken from green-orange-red.

I just pity e 3 deaths and may they RIP and :shoot: e rich prc f--ker.

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

Why is his nationality relevant?

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

I take my words back if there's 100% no relevancy but am confident there is at least some relevancy even if it's not totally irrelevant.

If there's a culture where a person is born into and naturally in another country, that imbedded culture since young is not easy to be changed e.g. the road attitude in a particular country e.g. its better to kill a person on e road than to hurt and not kill e person, naturally e attitude of driving on e road is different.

Let's not get carry away with the local/foreigner issue of the Ferrari driver.

Issue is loss of lives from reckless driving.

Ya, agreed.
My grandfather and grandmother all took small boat and come Singapore in the 1930s. And many of my elder relatives too. But their kids and grand kids are all locals and serve NS.
People scolding PRC are fuckers, maybe their grandparents come from Tatoinne or Naboo.

That's presumptuous, don't you think?

You recall a young local chap in his Evo 9 who killed a cabby along Killiney Road towards River Valley in 2009?

http://www.bmw-sg.com/forums/other-performance-marques/26218-evo-crashed-killing-taxi-driver.html

And Lim Hong Eng, the editor of Sin Ming Daily News, who killed a pillion while beating a red light? She was initially sentenced to 1.5 years jail and fined $12000, later reduced to 1 day jail and a $2000 fine after appeal.

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

I do recall.

With regard to e young chap, well, that is why vehicle premium for e young drivers is kinda high while mature drivers are more road 'disciplined'... all supported by data.

Also I dont like to quote past examples because I cannot also quote other examples of driving attitude by non locals, its a never ending discussion.

I will not dispute your points, u have your right to view things your way, so do I. What we gain holistically from inputs is many perspective of points and no need showcase whose points r right or wrong or bias or not bias.

Cheerz and apologies to those who feel strong injustice for negativity to PRC in SG.

Anyway all Chinese r from PRC regardless whether they r American, British, Australian, Canadain, Malaysian, etc etc. Our identity now is who we are and I am a 3rd generation Singaporean thus I do not associate myself with mainland PRC.

Yups I m a f--ker because I m an a--hole among many in SG who hates what unrefined PRC r doing in my country bcoz of certain policies beyond this f--ker's control.

Btw, my ancestors came from Alderaan to Planet Earth but they landed in China i was told :errmm:

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

Anyone saw e on board camera's video of e accident? I just did.

From e camera's coverage, the Ferrari came out from e left side (pov) and hit e blue cab (right side pov)... the cab was about 3/4 into e yellow box of e traffic junction i.e. about to complete e junction. Camera was on board e vehicle on lane 2 (cab on lane 1) which was about 1 car length behind e cab.

From the camera's time stamp, it all happened within 04:09:21.

[QUOTEPoor lady, come here holiday but kenna these type of asshole driver[/QUOTE]

read yesterday's wanbao, while the ferrari passenger was semi consious, she was in pain and speaks an accent or PRC , japanese meh?? papers also mention about strong alchohol smell in cabin.

Re: Two killed, 3 injured in Rochor Road accident

in this case if the ferrari driver indeed drink n drive, then the innocent parties cant claim insurance cos its not covered anymore if alcohol is involved.
then how? engage own lawyer and sue ??
