Re: Under 100k for brand new car

the usual suspect would be AD kimchi or PI sushi entry level (basic spec) - all touching $100k borderline liao
but next 2 biddings will be tough on cat-a anticipating of quota reduction in cat-a

Well, it is they who chose to impliment e COE as a vehicular population control even through there could be better ways but less lucrative :p
Afterall, it is a system that has proven to have failed but it's lucrative no doubt :D

Re: Under 100k for brand new car

It's interesting, I'm just musing aloud.

When I was in nursery (this was about 40 years ago), we had this toy that the teachers used to have us play. It was a globe-like sphere, with one half blue, another half red, and had different cut out shapes for us to slot the correct yellow colored blocks into the sphere. It was a Tupperware shape-sorter:

We would of course fumble, and at times, try shoving the circle-shaped yellow block into a square opening - the classic round peg into a square hole. And of course, it would never fit.

The COE, the ERP were originally meant to control vehicle population/congestion.

We see more cars on the roads, and heavier traffic jams now more than ever.

Round peg. Square hole.

And the geniuses at LTA's solution is to keep shoving the same damn peg into the same damn hole.

Maybe they didn't go to nursery.
