Good to see you here too mate! (Z33 here from porker forum, my nick here is an old one).

Hear you on the horses and have been hearing about Ital's issues as well. The bull looks like a 'safer' buy in terms of after-sales support, customer experience and of course a lot higher OMVs! The other issue I considered was the DNA of the G and LP560 aren't too different or far apart (Lambo owners can correct me if I am wrong) whereas the 458 is a whole different car compared to the 430 (which I am looking at).

let me jump in. G n 560 DNA not much different. but the 560 is a big jump in terms daily drivability. 560 is perfection after 6 yrs of G.

458 is a big leapt from the 430. saw the car...fittings still seems rather loose...but the tech in the 458 is prob out of this world.

Fitments in almost all Ferrari's are are loosely fitted. The F430 has the most simple interior but even while having it simple, the interior rattles and creaks. I cant comment for the F458 but I dont think it will be a significant improvement.

Most Lamborghinis from the G to the M incl the 670 SV, has a very solid interior feel. The kinda feel that everything is "tight". And in every aspect, like an Audi interms of interior layout and quality.

Despite all the horror stories of tempermental F-cars, I understand the 430s are fairly realiable? Perhaps not as reliable as a G/LP560?

i had the maser GS which has many similar components to the f430. clutch wear is main thing...but if u dun drive it hard with lots of downshifts u can rpeserve clutch to about 25k km. on the GSL, the clutch is ceramic. bomb proof, period. also u dun get creaks in the car. biggest problem seems to be slightly boring feel interior of the car. also dead boring to drive at low speeds. heavy steering and clunky gear shifts until transmission oil n engine oil warm up. u can imagine most journey in town is over b4 the oil gets warmed up. on track it simply offers something else.
