Juice Box is a piggyback system developed for the N54 family of engines.. basically the current BMW 3.0L Twin Turbo range. The unit intercepts and modifies signals perceived by the ECU such as Wastegate DC, Boost, Fuel Pressure, T-Map signal, TPS, etc. which results in enhanced the performance (More Power) for this class of engines.
Sprint Booster is TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) modifier. It primarily modifies the sensitivity rate of throttle position against accelerator pedal pressure resulting in a quicker reacting transition from off throttle to WOT (Wide Open Throttle).

A piggyback/interceptor system modifies (intercepts) sensor signals to the ECU. It does not alter ECU values, that is why it will pass inspection upon removal of the setup. A reflash/reprogram would alter values in the ECU. The difference is not merely pedantic.
As for TPS voltage modification, they will improve transient throttle response at the expense of fuel economy. Overall peak power output will remain the same though.
