But the biggest killer of classic cars in SPore is ROAD TAX!!!! many a times even though we like the car so much but a simple calculations will show that its simply not possible to keep the car. Thats why the 1.8 and 2.0 is still very popular to keep in the long run......

In singapore thats true, but the question is "Which E36 would be sort after as a classic?" Of which I am assuming given any environment, which e36 would you choose... However, even if you factor in the road tax and all, I would still take the e36 M3. Cheers!

thank you spelling police...

HAHA... thanks man... anyways..an observation is that there are spme people who seems to prefer the BM 4cy engine over the lower end 6 cy....hence 318is seems to be a popular choice as well? any comments on this?

Re: Which E36 would be sort after as a classic?

I always prefer the 6 cy over any 4 cy anyday... swee swee

Re: Which E36 would be sort after as a classic?

ok, i feel that there is a discription problem here, as ALL cars will become classics after 25 years old (for singapore it is 30 years). So perhaps it should be repharsed as "collectable"???

Just my 2 cents worth........... so classic ALL, collectable M3's and the model with the least production run...........
