the answer is no.

For Japanese car. We can change only the rubber insert and use the existing wiper frame. This is cost effective as the rubber insert is only a few dollars.

For BMW. Can we change only the rubber insert?

Not entirely no. It depends on the choice of wipers you use. Though the standard wiper on bimmers are frameless, you can choose to use aftermarket frame ones and the answer will be a yes.

will it void warranty?

Not entirely no. It depends on the choice of wipers you use. Though the standard wiper on bimmers are frameless, you can choose to use aftermarket frame ones and the answer will be a yes.
