But what price that lady se take in your car? If that lady se take in at 45k market price, then end up it is still the same as the first SE who give you 30k overtrade.

PML discount is usually reflected as "overtrade" in paper work. Just like your case, even if you go find that lady se, your invoice will still put as selling price of 231,800, but trade-in price becomes higher.

Dear Bros & sis,

I'm going to be a proud owner of a f30 sports in mineral white in 3 wk time.
Hope u guys will keep me in the loop of anything related to my second wife in the future...

Re: WTB: BMW 320i/328i F30

bro dragonsoul, congrats on your new ride.

just saw your posts. i have a 4 months old 320i sports black. asked for a number of freebies from PML that time n they did not agree to a single one. i believe they use overtrade as the main discount.
i thought of the buying decision for awhile too. but end of day, what the heck......COE likely will stay high...life's short...enjoy the moments....

Re: WTB: BMW 320i/328i F30

Hi dragonsoul,

Did pml place bid for your Coe yesterday?
I have booked a 320i luxury, but it was outbid as they only place my bid at 86,777

I believed they are trying their luck if can Heng Heng get me a Coe lower than their existing cat E paper on hand.

So disappointed with pml, didn't noe they so unsteady.
My previous experiences with the dealers is they will just place the bid amt on par with the amt when u booked with them. 93,004

Checked with my se, he haven't noe whether I will be given a Cat E anot. Only said I will get my new ride bf 2013.

Look for Mr Yang, a nice and patient chap. I've reserved a set of 19" BC forged rim with them, chosen the TM05 model from the BC website. 19" rim only 9.9KG. Take 3 weeks to deliver from late Nov. But however, I will be collecting my F30 end of next week, so told mr yang about it , he said will swapped a used set of rim with my new trade in 414 17" alloy rim until the forged rim arrived.

Now I do hope tat rim arrived before new ride collection or otherwise I have cracked my mind on what to do next as I want all things new including rims before Christmas, so be heng heng all the way.

BTW, I think is best to register new car next month as may have LTA's CARBON EMISSION REBATE. I guess will be at least $10k for 320I.

Rebates for Low Carbon Emissions Cars from 1 January 2013
News Releases
28 Nov 2012

1. All new cars, taxis, and imported used cars with low carbon emissions and registered from 1 January 2013 will qualify for rebates when the new Carbon Emissions-Based Vehicle Scheme (CEV) kicks in. This new scheme will replace the existing Green Vehicle Rebate (GVR)1 scheme that will expire on 31 December 2012.

2. Under CEV, all new cars, taxis, and imported used cars registered from 1 January 2013 with low carbon emissions of less than or equal to 160g carbon emissions per kilometre (CO2/km) will qualify for rebates of between $5,000 and $20,0002 which will be offset against the Additional Registration Fee (ARF) payable.

3. Cars with carbon emissions equal to or more than 211g CO2/km will incur a corresponding registration surcharge of between $5,000 and $20,000. The surcharges will only take effect six months later, from 1 July 2013, to give consumers and the motor industry more time to adjust.

4. Taxis generally clock higher mileage than cars. To encourage taxi companies to adopt lower emission models for their fleet, the CEV rebate and registration surcharge for taxis is set at 50% higher compared to cars, i.e. between $7,500 and $30,000.

5. As non Euro V-compliant diesel models emit significantly more fine particulate matter, they will not enjoy the ARF rebates under the CEV even if they fall within the rebate emission bands. However if these models fall within the surcharge bands, the appropriate CEV surcharge will still apply.

6. The CEV will be applicable till 31 December 2014. The scheme will be reviewed, taking into consideration its impact on motorists’ purchasing decision, technological advances and the progress in Singapore’s overall mitigation efforts on climate change.

Helping buyers identify low carbon emission and fuel efficient cars

7. To help car buyers make informed decisions, the CO2/km performance data for each car model is available on mandatory Fuel Economy Label (FEL) information labels affixed on cars that are on sale in showrooms. The label, which carries LTA’s logo, is required to be affixed on cars and light goods vehicles3 (LGVs) that have been approved from 1 July 2012 and are displayed for sale.

8. The new label highlights the model’s carbon emissions per kilometer (CO2/km), fuel consumption and relative carbon emission performance. The label also shows the car banding under the CEV and corresponding rebate or surcharge to encourage consumers to shift to more fuel efficient and lower carbon emission models.

9. Brochure on how to read the Fuel Economy Label is available at all car showrooms and the ONE.MOTORING website (ONE.MOTORING - Home).

10. Car buyers can also use the new FEL scheme online database and fuel cost calculator available at the ONE.MOTORING to compare the fuel costs and possible savings, as well as the emissions level and fuel efficiency information across different car makes and models.

Annex A: Fuel economy label at car showrooms

1 The Green Vehicle Rebate (GVR) scheme was introduced in 2001 to encourage the take up of green vehicles. Electric, hybrid and compressed natural gas vehicles are given a rebate of up to 40% of the vehicle’s Open Market Value (OMV) which is offset against the vehicle’s Additional Registration Fee (ARF).

2 CEV rebate is subject to a minimum ARF payable of $5,000, as cars that have relatively low ARF payable and are already fuel-efficient do not need to be further incentivised.

3 Light goods vehicles will remain under the Green Vehicle Rebate scheme and their Fuel Economy Labels will be without the related CEV information.

Re: WTB: BMW 320i/328i F30

Bro, I just on my 328 today now pml are throwing in Xmas discount my 328 is selling at 222800 after discount lux line model my car over trade 10 k so total discount I get is abt 40 k overtake.

I consider damn long than I buy this car as I bought my previous Coe at 8k back in 2009.

320 and 328 won't go wrong as they are launch a few months ago cheapest Coe than abt 70 plus thus nobody will sell cheap one in resale market.if u buy other brand like audi a5 or a4 if next time u wanna sell u are competing against the ppl that purchase at 10k u sure chia Luk one. The 328 cost 12k more compare to 320 is super value for money as the 0 to 100 is 5.9 sec on paper is super fast. I tested today and on today.

Oh ok thought the ot they will deduct of the selling price. Thx bro

Re: WTB: BMW 320i/328i F30

Hi stockkid81,

The over trade u refering to is it base on the additional amount which the 2nd hand car dealer take in price.
For my case, if I trade in my current to the car dealer is around 51k, but pml take in 70k.
So my over trade given is 19k, rite?

I wanted to register my 320i on jan, but the se said is nt possible. Unless I give up my over trade value. Is that so?
