good luck in your serach bro.

Re: WTB: e90 325i

have driven a friend's one a lot. about 9km per litre. it's a great car, really turned me on to beemers :)

Re: WTB: e90 325i

Driving a black/black E90 325, its a really good car, good low end, plus superb high end power... to me its rather frugal on fuel, about 9.5km/l for a 2.5L block with 218bhp is really good...But car under-utilized, 2yrs old, only clocked 25K. Coz me and my spouse travelling most of the time...

Re: WTB: e90 325i

hi waterboy, my consumption is actually a bit high...cos i stay near the city and usage of expressway is low, approx 40:60 ratio, 40% being expressways. so far, my consumption is about 8km/litre.

cheers
muddie

Re: WTB: e90 325i

I am driving the E90 323i, same engine but detuned to 177bhp. I cannot understand why you guys could get so good consumption! I do 20% (Expressway) & 80% (Urban). My consumption is horrible... range from 6.3km/L to 6.5km/L. Have been monitoring it for a year. : (

Re: WTB: e90 325i

Has anyone unlocked the 323i powerplant if it is the same engine as the 325i?

that means you travel 300+km on a full tank?
what's the size of your rims and tires?

Re: WTB: e90 325i

225 R18 40...but should not make such diff thou.

thinking of upgrading programme but was told will not be exactly same output as 325 but close to 200bhp (from existing 177bhp)

about 190bhp, from just chipping alone... coz the intake manifold is different, and also the campshaft and some other stuffs. 323 is rare world wide... think the japs done the most "research" since its also available there. changing the hardware is not economically viable... conclusion... BMW has done its work... if not pple would be buying 323 and then mod it to 325 liao...:)

if want to mod... 325/330 is a better base.. chipping will get it pass >230bhp easily for the 325....

Re: WTB: e90 325i

yeah still cheaper to sell the 323 and buy a 325.... than to try make a 323 the same as a 325 ... got idrive + gps somemore...

Re: WTB: e90 325i

Was just at PML Sime Darby today..

There were a couple of 323/325i on display. There is a 325i w/o navigation but all the features of the newer 323i (xenons, foldable rear seats, blacklines, etc).

The listed price of the 325i without iDrive is $169500. This is about the same price as the 323i Highline iDrive.

I reckon this is a move against the C200K.

Re: WTB: e90 325i

looks like they will eventually stop offering the 323... and bring in maybe a 320 DI model... would be interesting to see what happens when merc starts dropping the prices...

Ferd, agree with you. Hopefully the DI 320i model will become a reality. The combination of low fuel consumption with the higher power output can only benefit the consumers.

eNerGy: Good luck in your search!

Tot its mentioned earlier in the thread the the DI model will not materialize in Singapore due to its requirement for low sulphur fuel... or its the latest development by PML to bring it in...???

Re: WTB: e90 325i

Hi all

You all get about 6 to 9km/liter?
But what i known from bmw online catalog is that for E90, the fuel consumption is about 11.2km/liter for 325, may i know why so diff?

Beside, i am trying to get a 3 series too. But heard that maintanence for BM is very expensive isnt? May I know how much you guys spend on maintainence, is it very high?
