Hi Bro,

Was also in the market for a E90.

For your reference, these are some of the sold BMW on SgCarMart and their indicative listed price. Of course, there are several still available on SgCarMart.

Feb 2006 - $71,800
Used BMW 320I Car for Sale from Singapore, BW Automobiles - sgCarMart

Apr 2006 - $88,000
Used BMW 320I Car for Sale from Singapore, Premium Auto - sgCarMart

Jun 2006 - $76,500
Used BMW 320I Car for Sale from Singapore, Thong Lee Trading - sgCarMart
I thought the 1st car (Feb 2006) by BW Automobiles was sold for $79,800

Oops, it's recorded in my spreadsheet which might be prone to human error...
Anyway, your price seems to correct and around that range...
But actual deal price might be $5-8k lower... Just guessing...

On a separate note, got a lot of advises not to buy out-of-warranty BMWs...
But new BMWs have much higher depreciation...

From what I know most car dealers enjoy good sales. I came across a few BMW 320i were sold within a day. Of course car dealers asking prices are negotiable but its unlikely they will give such a huge discount (I mean referring to those car dealers that ask for realistic prices in the first place). For those dealers, I think a $1K discount is the max. Of course car dealers can also jack up their asking prices and give you a huge discount. I never trust the latter type of dealers.

Fully agree with you not to buy out-of-warranty BMW as my personal experience tells me that BMW cars start to have problems (oil leak, radiator leak, air-con compressor down etc) which can run into several thousands of dollars to repair.

Re: Wtb E90

Wait till you hear of horror stories in particular the "French bitches" .... French cars are often "beautiful" but poor quality control:) :)

tks for ur our informative inputs!! really appreciate u guys.. do keep them coming in! :)
bro oyg, im actually looking for gunmetal or black lei...so sorry, anyway gd luck to ur sales! :)

Re: Wtb E90

You can go to the sgcarmart website to choose what you want, there are ample choices there. But no offence to bros owning black colour cars, I suggest you really think hard whether you want black as the colour of the car. My previous ride was black in colour and it was a nightmare.

Re: Wtb E90

bro wads wrong wif black? can share? i dun like buying from dealers...i think they r too sly to my liking...prefer to buy from direct owners :)

Re: Wtb E90

FYI, sgcarmart has both dealers and direct owners. Sometimes, it may not be bad to buy from dealers (as dealers pick and choose their cars too). Unless you are an expert (or you have appointed a technician to assist you) in inspecting cars, buying a 2nd hand car entails 'great' risks.

If you are a busy professional, black is not for you. Black cars are very hard to maintain, you have to wash and polish (or you can do a paint sealant coat) 2 to 3 times a week. Any flaws (like scratches, dents etc) of the car paint is highly visible. Again no offence, think black colour is not so popular nowadays.

Re: Wtb E90

If you are keen to buy, I am a keen seller. June 2006, done 43,000km, staggered 18 inches BMW alloy rim and PS2 tires. If you keen PM me. Thanks.

Re: Wtb E90

Most buyers tend to focus on (low) price when buying a 2nd hand car, my advise is not get carried away with just pricing alone. Some 2nd hand cars can price cheap (as compared to others), but underlying it are all the potential repairs and/ or replacements which can end up burning your pocket. Go for price that is fair (not low), an early 2006 E90 320 should have a market price of between $75K to $78K

u bot at $88k? i think abit high lei..i think now a 06 model can get for ard 70 odd

I got it at 77k, inclusive of 1 year road tax renewal. Considering it comes with factory sunroof and relatively low kms (33,700km when I picked it up), interior was almost in as new condition and in black, I thought it was a decent price :)

Re: Wtb E90

hi,

Black is definitely harder to maintain as compared to other colour but so long as you sent for regular body works it should be ok.....

no worries...........

Gun metal is cool as well (rare)

cheers
