WTS: BMW 6 speed ZF manual transmission

hi,

i've a low mileage BMW 6 speed transmission, made by ZF, for sale. 6th gear is an overdrive gear - ratio is 0.85:1.

it's the same tranny that's fitted on the Z4M so its good and strong and as far as i know, it is suitable for almost all M5X family of BMW 6 cylinder engines, including M52/M54 engines found in the E36/E46. But do check with your preferred workshop first to confirm fitment.

i never got round to installng it and i'm giving this up as i'm too busy with final year to take on any more new projects. 6 speed gearboxes are hard to come by and rarely sold off but price will be very attractive even when compared to the 5 speed ones on sale in the classifieds.

hopefully not. sometimes it delay engaged when you put D. do you know if its going to go. but if you drive at 2nd to 5th gear is no problem. on when you at traffic jam, then when you start to press on accelerator, it start to delay for few 2 sec before the gear engage.

hopefully not. the problem accur when only at traffic jam otherwise if from 2nd gear to 5th gear is fine. when you put D, as soon as your press you accelerator then i will engaged only after 2 sec. last time it doesn't happen. do you know if is gone??
