Need advice. New 5 series noisy brakes

i ever read that a forumer sent his car to PML for servicing and when he got it back, he saw 1 dent on each front door. that's really far worse than being uncleaned. scary!

    Questions regarding F10 528i

At 120k, sure have wear and tear here and there. Yeah, better send for check just to be safe. Won’t want to be stranded on the road due to a stall.

    Questions regarding F10 528i

i think your fuel consumption is quite normal, nothing to be alarmed about. is your car high mileage? the weird belt or fan noise is something that you should have it checked out at a workshop. i also wonder why it's louder in eco mode. my f10 is relatively quiet in the cabin. can hear...

    Windscreen imperfections

hi guys, does it bother you a lot when you accumulate hairline scratches, wiper marks and stone pits on your windscreen over time? my hairlines are only more obvious when driving facing direct sunlight, but i still feel they are really an eyesore even machine polish also didn't really get rid...

    Consider a F30 316i purchase

actually PPSL does not mean it's better just because it belongs to some big organisations. i chose not to buy from them due to: 1. high interest rate for car loan 2. super low trade in value 3. must buy their super duper expensive insurance for first year 4. they don't always touch up the car...

    Feedback needed

i can't say the drive is sporty for the bigger versions such as 5 and 7 series, of course we don't use the M series as a gauge. but definitely score well on comfort level and show-off factor.

Where to check whether mileage is genuine

in bloody singapore run by the PAP, odometer rigging is still not considered a crime punishable by fine and jail. that speaks volumes about our legal system. the PAP government does not care about this aspect as they don't have a chance to squeeze money from the resale transactions, except for...

Where to check whether mileage is genuine

i read somewhere that the idrive service history can also be rigged. would having the service booklet be a safer bet? of course have to check it against the idrive records.

    Tyre pressure

noted, thanks. i have been using 240kpa most the time. do you use RFT or non-RFT? i have read many comments on the internet and there are different arguments both for and against.

Those who use 225/55R17, what is the tyre pressure you use?

    Windscreen pitting

Replacing the windscreen will come at some risks. I did it once for my previous ride, lucky no leaking or wind noise. But if crack, of course no choice but to replace. My insurance covers any workshop, so will surely go back to PML. Don't really have faith in those OEM ones.

    Windscreen pitting

Mine doesn't. In any case, my pits are too small to be repaired effectively. But the sight of them is really annoying.

    Windscreen pitting

I noticed that the windscreen tends to pit quite easily, as compared to my earlier jap cars. i have been careful not to follow behind trucks and other high risk vehicles. on expressways, i drive at 100km/h max. never drove into Malaysia. so far no cracks, so can't change and claim insurance...
