by the way, my engine temperature still runs normal even after 1.5 hours of continuous driving. it's at about 95-100 deg.

Today my onboard computer prompted me to top up 1 litre of engine oil. According to the computer, I am still about 1200km to the next servicing. The last oil change was early Jan 2021, so it's about 7 months now. Should I just top up first or straightaway schedule the next oil change?

even if you buy new, eventually you will still face the risk once warranty is over. Unless you are prepared to change car every 3 years, but the first owner will suffer the highest depreciation. Just curious, is your F30 high mileage?

I noticed a very thin film (almost dry) of oil on my regular parking lot, at the location under the centre of the engine. It’s dark brown. Is this something to be alarmed? Or can wait for few months till next servicing?

personally, i use 98. i do believe there's a difference. many years back, when i had a company petrol card, i used v-power and the power was really noticeable. i think bmw needs tender care and i try not to skimp on what i feed it.
