    Taste of IS250

Re: Taste of IS250 The rear is VERY CRAMPED. Front okay, but make sure you sit in the rear. Rear light cluster a little too fussy. Nice leather seats though.

    Leather Squeaking

Re: Leather Squeaking 1. Adjust the seat height, so that it doesn't rub against the leather side. 2. Put liberal amounts of BMW leather lotion on the seat, it will reduce the squeaking. 3. Put 3M felt tape on the side of the buckle, so that it reduces squeaking. 4. While you're at it, put...

Thanks for the warm welcome, Ryan!

Re: Thanks for the warm welcome, Ryan! Between 523i and GS300, I'd go for the GS300, more complete package. Between GS300 and 525i, then the 525i wins, but only if you can live with the looks. But all of them are wonderful cars, glad you're in the position to choose! :)

    Arrival of E90 323.....

Re: Arrival of E90 323..... Considering the previous M54B22 can do 210Nm@3500rpm. The N52 (R6) B25 in the 325i can do 250Nm@2750rpm. What kinda tuning is that?? I agree with Ryan... the retail pricing needs to be adjusted... BTW -- so, do we call the 323i's engine N52 B23 or N52...

    Arrival of E90 323.....

Re: Arrival of E90 323..... I'm really hoping that the torque figures from the detuned 2.5L block is going to be impressive, coz the bhp is pretty disappointing. Even the previous M54 B22 could get 170bhp from 2.2L!

new number plate vs old number plate

Re: new number plate vs old number plate E series worth more, since they are older. But also consider the last letter (checkdigit), some people don't like 'X' among other letters... S-series (SB, SC... SW, SY) worth even more, due to rarity.

    Service Interval vs Oil Change

Re: Service Interval vs Oil Change I'd change the oil and filter in between the OIL SERVICE/INSPECTION intervals, usually once every 10k to 12k km. Suck or drain? Don't matter as long as the filter is being changed as well...

    my E46

Re: my E46 Depends on what you want to get next. Scrap - yes, can sell of your accessories, they just need a stock car. Car body price affected by maybe 1-2k because of the respray, but no biggie. Try searching on the forum to get a feel of the prices for the accessories. Do your sums...
