Thanks for your comments! Changed the thermostat and it seemed to have solved the issue! The car even feels much quieter. But I Guess it’s probably because I was used to the high speed whine of the fan. I’m a happy person again!

Yes. Got quoted $60 for the thermostat from ES. But the workshop asked me to change water pump and thermostat together. Any recommended workshop other than sponsors here? Thanks!

Read somewhere else that it should be thermostat or water pump issue. Anyone can confirm cos I’m thinking of buying the parts from ES and then bring to ws to fix. Thanks!

Hi guys, anyone encountered a non stopping radiator fan? It just keeps spinning at high speed whenever I stop. Past few days was intermittent. Today it’s like for at least 5mins. It’s still spinning hard and making that whining sound typical of a fan at high velocity as I type this. Temp sensor...

Just bought my 2011 F10...only time will tell I guess... But damn shiok ride....

You are right but sometimes it still gets to you. Maybe I should compile a list of items which seems to fail more often on the F10. Or is there already such a thread? Probably will do a search on this.

This is one thread that I had wished wasn't real. I used to drive the E60 but currently driving a Mercedes C200 Kompressor. And I have been itching to get an F10 even before the C200 but it was not within my Budget back then... So in the past week or so, going through SGcarmart has rekindled...

Re: Adaptive headlights - turns off one right head lamp when turn left Thanks folks for the replies! Actually it's fine now...the right side headlight doesn't turn off now whenever I turn left. And before that, when the issue was still present, I always had to turn the light switch to 2...

Anyone experience their right head lamp turning off when you do a left full turn? It's definitely my adaptive head lights screwing things up because when I turn the light switch to the 2 o'clock position (manual headlights turn on), no such error will occur. I'm driving a pre LCI e60 525...
