Re: Bilstein rebuilds
I'm running softer at the front because I'm a front wheel drive car. Harder setting at the rear will help FR cars turn in better.
Cheers!
Re: Bilstein rebuilds
Thanks for all the helpful advice, including the PM!
I've found the source of my "problem". The last time I went for a wheel alignment, I went to soften the settings (think it was 7F/6R) to better preserve the absorbers for longer lasting life.
That was a mistake...
Re: Bilstein rebuilds
My mistake. My price includes installation. PSS9 for MINI costs the same as for 3 or 5 series. But it does cost about $3200++ currently. I just checked price with stockist.
Phil: Thanks a lot mate!! You're a life saver!
Re: Bilstein rebuilds
I'm running PSS9 for MINI Cooper S and it costs ard $3500 for a set for us. I'm almost certain it costs ard the same for bimmers too??
Re: Bilstein rebuilds
Seems like such a (carbon footprint) waste to just throw the COs away when it can be rebuilt? Obviously USA is too far away to send to, but I was hoping that a service center is available in Asia... that'd make it somewhat economically viable.
Considering that PSS9...
Out of curiosity, does anyone here send their bilstein coilovers for rebuilds like the center in Socal? Is there one in asia? Better still, in Singapore?
Example here: Bilstein
What do you guys do for worn coilovers? Change new ones? :yikess:
Re: Polished Lip Repair Process (Lots of pics warning)
The rims weren't as badly scratch up as yours Chickenbackside. I guess you could call them Curb rashes, and a small part of metal that is somewhat "chipped" off. So i guess thats it only costs $10. I dunno... maybe because i scratched the...
Re: Polished Lip Repair Process (Lots of pics warning)

Re: Polished Lip Repair Process (Lots of pics warning)
I think it's clear coated over the metal .... ..... maybe i have to get the kallang guy to knock it out, then spray clear at Yew Lip huh?
Re: Polished Lip Repair Process (Lots of pics warning)
Ahhhh! I scratched my M6 rims.... i wonder if this kallang guy can repair it or if Yew Lip can do the job???
Any advice?
Re: Mouldy Odour from A/C
Yup yup, that will definately work. My aircon had a leak before and the moisture from the leak created a very strong sour smell of milddew.
After a drive back from work, I turned the heat up, and at full blast fan, while leaving the auto circulation off and the...

Re: Hamann
Hmm.. was there at the BMW meet last sunday. I wanted to talk to some of the ppl at the meet ... but felt really uncomfortable just being there. Everyone kept glaring/staring at me once i got out of my car. Felt really out of place.
