Hi everyone,
I'm doing an upgrade on my brakes. Which means my front brakes are up for sale.
E34 525 brakes. Can fit both m20 and m50 engined cars. Both left and right rebuilt with new seals within the past 12 months (was trying to correct a problem that turned out to be my brake hoses)...

Re: Woman getting high in MRT...
Why have a good time embarrassing people? Can i suggest the tons of stand up comedy videos on youtube? This woman is obviously mentally disturbed, and most certainly not high. She has full control of her physical capacities, mute the video and you couldn't...
Re: How Do You Manage Without A Spare Tyre?
There's no question about the convenience of run flat tyres. And yes, there is a mild safety aspect as well, but imo its not significant as the rims can handle the car's weight (rims might not survive unscathed though). I recently had a tyre go flat...
Re: How Do You Manage Without A Spare Tyre?
That is true, runflat tyres are a good insurance. But insurance is not supposed to cost 2-3 times the cost of the thing being insured. If you are insured for $1m, you should not be paying $2m in annual premiums, you should be paying like 1%. Runflats...
Hi Everyone,
My open diff is kaput and I've decided to put in an LSD. E34 520 24v. 188mm, so medium case I believe.
If you have a good LSD, please pm me or better yet give me a call at HP (+65) 83539963.
I can pick it up immediately. Thanks.
Roberto
Re: How Do You Manage Without A Spare Tyre?
There's no need to change all the rims.
However, (assuming you have damaged one rim by travelling on it with a flat tyre), if they cannot find one identical rim or a pair at least, you'll have to change all four for consistency, or drive with a...

Re: Ignition Upgrades
I feel that cartoon is appropriate for 90% of the so called car products and upgrades out there. The average car consumer is an ignoramus and is content to remain so.
Re: Ignition Upgrades
Those are interesting numbers. I eagerly await Shawn's interpretation.
How much did your dyno test cost R2D and on which date and location was this test conducted ? Were any forumers in attendance?
rgds.
Re: PI dealer has the right to void warranty upon transfer of ownership??
The legal position on car warranty transfer between owners is as follows :
1. The industry practice in Singapore is that the warranty stays with the car's title and not the individual/corporate owners involved. Many...
Re: WTS 17" 2 piece rims E34 E39 E60
Price has been reduced to $850 for a quick clearance. Grab it before someone else does...remember they are newly reconditioned and spraypainted. Nice ! Happy Rabbit year everybody !
Re: Ignition Upgrades
Shaun, wouldn't a bigger electric charge result in a bigger spark? And wouldn't a bigger spark result in a faster and more complete burn of the fuel-air charge? And if it does result in a faster burn, would that need ignition timing adjustment to be properly optimised...
Re: Ignition Upgrades
Several years, several cars, and tons of money later, I can certainly endorse the comment that human feel is extremely overated ! Great comment shaun. Outstanding to encounter a bmw driver who actually knows his stuff for a change.
Rodney sir, it is time for you to dyno...
Re: Ignition Upgrades
Thanks for the response, rodney. Got some questions for you. Does bmw motorsports use capacitors on their ignition coils?
And there is no difficulty in builiding a coil with thicker more extended windings, it need not extend sideways but could just protrude 'skyward'...
Re: Ignition Upgrades
You are clearly entitled to go back to r2d2 and have them check your system out to see if they caused a problem with your car. That would be the first think for you to do actually.
Re: Ignition Upgrades
BMW AG spends billions of dollars on research. You've seen the ignition coil....it doesn't take up much space and can be comfortably increased in size and thus capacity if they felt it would help. They didn't so that's saying something. I would suspect that ignition...
