I believe the fold was caused by poor installation.

I stalled V-Kool for three of my cars. Did not see any bubbles. There was a slight fold for the last installation. V-Kool re-did it at no cost.

Thanks for the feedback. I did consider the RX300. However, for some strange reason, I did not like the smell of the RX300 interior leather. I know it is strange, but the smell gives me a headache. Also, I thought that the X3's drive was better compared to the RX300.

My view is that if you intend to keep the car for up to 5 years, stay away from the SAAB. The SAAB drives like a dream in the first 2 years or so. Thereafter, your SAAB will probably be parked more frequently in the workshop than your garage/car park. Between the merc and the 520, I would think...

Thanks man. Considered the sports bumper but did not really like the look. Too drastic for me. May now have to order the bumper from Germany. It will take weeks.

A cab scratched it while we were both exiting a carpark. PML has no stock of the bumper at the moment. It needs to be ordered from Germany. Have been told that the X3 owners are discarding their bumper after upgarding to the sports edition bumpers.

would disagree with your friend. In terms of specs, the 520 is really a 523. A 525 is just a 525. A 525 and 520 has no real difference in engine delivery and drive. It sounds like she is really just looking at the label. Don't be discouraged by your friend. The 520 is a great for its price...
