2.0L valvetronic pushing 170hp?

I saw the technical data of the new 520i...why is the HP ratings different in the bmw.com website and this site's introduction.....170 to 156...

Any idea if current N42s and N46 can up rate to that?

very possible if the ECU is remapped.

from personal experience - dyno proven.

is yours the pre-facelift? it's 1.9L

the post-FL is 2L.

both these can have ECU remapping done. will give increases in both power and torque.

u can do it either at j4c, bvo, or r2d (check with doc rod)

luckily it's not as expensive as the e90 - our e46 are last year's toys lah...
