I had Cruise Control at my old car but rarely use it. In the BMW, it has speed limit. I use it all the time, especially when going through a known speed camera, I just turn on the speed limit, no need to worry about speeding, and can always going pass the speed camera at max allowable speed I would say the speed limit is MUCH MUCH more useful than cruise control in Singapore.

Absolutely agree. Been using it so often. It's also well designed for 1kmh or 10kmh increments. I can now relax in centre lane and move to right once in a while and back to centre lane. No need to worry about exceeding by too much! (I set it slightly above road limit.. or else I'll zzzzZZZ).

1. 8.8 inch bigger LCD with split view.
2. Harman Kardon Sound System: 1 Amp with 16 speakers.
3. Touch iDrive support Hand writing input and map scroll and zooming by multi-touch function.

8.8"... Doesn't the original screen support split screen?

your stock one does not, but if you upgrade 8.8 inch, then yes, split screen will be turned on automatically like below:
