Yo bro, can PM me the damage on the BMW Performance 6-pot? Kind of interested.

Sharing some photos of my Performance BBK, however decided not to install on my E89 instead on my E90. Awesome braking, seriously getting the Brembo BBK for my E89 from our friendly Willman, saving up now

BTW I went to Chuan Sing to enquire for basic audio upgrade and its 3.8K for amp + speakers. Currently stock speaker really quite bad, even with my lousy ears, things sound v different from my hifi set at home

I did a search and nothing too concrete.

Can any Z4 brother who upgraded audio comment on this? Place/price/awesomenss. Thanks!!

Hi Jon,

S23i can only install PowerBox..........go for it........
PBox is for N52 engine
Juice Box only meant for the bigger brother N54 with twin turbo

Pros = You will enjoy it and always wanna take your ride out for a spin
Cons = havent find out yet......

i went cartoon new generation installed over 10 grand worth of parts and labour.end of the day, the z4 is still a roadster, not worth spending too much. what you probably get you the most improvement is a change of speaker and an amp.

Wow again, 10K! I bet your cabin rocks! Small house meet big house though (different league, different budget, sigh).

I have been to cartoon in the past and Cartoon has expensive taste. But the workmanship is v good, and they are really gentle when tearing things apart.

Any other z4 brother did some budget upgrade? That sounds good? Care to showcase? Thanks! Me into Billboard Top 10 and Jay Chou and playing from iphone only, so hoping to get some value for money advice.

like what dcs2k mention: change of speaker and an amp will be ok............
is yours from PMLor PI as saw some PI unit (Z4) do not have the 2x rear speaker ( woofer ) behind the seat..

Maybe no subwoofer. Never really heard any boom boom sound

BTW I m gonna get quotation from a few main audio guys. Maybe those interested in value-for-money upgrade can PM me if keen for "group upgrade"

yup, no sub woofer...............
mine is from PML got sub-woofer, so far the sound ok for me..................( no complaint )
so you may want to add -on a sub-woofer plus upgrade to better side speaker ( that should be enough )

I wish I can say that bro, but a roadster with all the sound introduced into the cabin, its actually dumb of me to think spending money can give that type of sound I ws loking at. Trust me, a 4k budget will go a long way in improving the stock system! Actually I will recommend getting the parts 2nd hand and pay CS or an installer of your choice labour to fix up and do the tuning. WHat will you will need is a 2 way component speakers and a 4 channel amp. maybe throw in a sub if bass is impt. note though the amp can only be installed in the boot which will take up precious space. hope this helps!

That the mp3s ripped from your CDs and loaded into your iPhone be the of the highest quality, preferably 320kbps. For maximum sound clarity and enjoyment

I have a few songs ripped in 128kbps and 320kbps, hell lot of difference when put on the same sound system

But one thing, will installing the PBox affect warranty of car in any way?

The Pbox can be turned off to revert to stock when we want to right?

Hi Jon,

yes, PBox is a plug and play........
For PML car, anything we do to the car, that parts warranty will be void.
but no worries..................if you worried then you may dis-engaged at BOSS before if you sending it in for a major check-up or what...........for normal servicing i also just send in with the PBox.
