Hi Bros,

Am interested in this smart top module as well.

So in the end is it better to self buy and install or Boss MotorSports has the solution? Or any other solutions to this? Tks!

I know someone who got the Smart Top module from US and install it himself locally. 1 hr job.
One reason why BMW doesn't have this built-in is for safety reasons. Imagine you bringing up or down the top while driving, your rear view will be block temporary.

I went back to stock due to the LTA issues I told you bout and now i realize that the low end throttle is slightly better with stock exo. Sound is awesome tho :D

Please check your engine number before installing, 23i gt 2 diff engine: N52B25 and N52B30. Remus only got approved exhaust for N52B25.

Are you running the N52B30?

So yours is a 3 liter engine? I'm confused. Or is it a revision of the current N52B25?

Mine is a 23i. Should be typo from PML or LTA

Re: All about Z4 (E89/ E86/ E85) thread

Anyone install aftermarket headunit in their z4? Will appreciate if you know a ICE shop that does ours (with the facia plate, etc).. Thought of putting a 2 din, but the display will be too close to the aircon vents..

Re: All about Z4 (E89/ E86/ E85) thread

Hi all

I'm new to the community and hoping to join it! Am looking at a couple of used Z4s (E85) and this one here looks potentially good - http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=147549&DL=2033 - although I'm seeing some adverse comments on this dealer on the forum.

Any advice on this car? Too expensive? Anything I need to be particularly careful about when shopping for a used Z4?

Any advice is appreciated. Hope to join in the fun soon. :)

Re: All about Z4 (E89/ E86/ E85) thread

Hi All, I would like to check with the Z4 gurus out there if a 2005-2008 Z4 MultiFunction steering wheel would fit a 2004 E85? the part number for the steering wheel: 32 30 6763531.

Thanks.

Re: All about Z4 (E89/ E86/ E85) thread

Hi all, wondering whether Z4 owners here have any preference for workshops, or are the usual suspects (J4C, BVO, Boss) are equally competent at servicing the Z4. Thanks!
