ah.. so this was your car that has major color make over.. saw it while it was work in progress at Mike's
yes.. Mike's work is commendable so far from my experience repairing a couple of mishaps on bumper and side door panel in recent pasts.
but one thing though.. candidly i would say Mike albeit a nice guy.. has that medical specialist doctors' attitude one has to contend with.. some can take it but some might find it to be of an experience bordering humility.
lack of patience to describe much on the what is involved in the repair and painting work....
want to repair..leave the car.. dun ask so much questions.. kinds attitude. so one just has to take his word by way of reputation.
sometimes when one's ride is fairly new... knowing what will be dismantled and removed for the paint job is trying to get some consolation on what the car will be subjected to.. so as to preserve close to original factory condition or not....
well just like specialist doctor one is seeing.. the doctor will hang his attitude on you..and if he is the best around to cure you.. one just have to bite the balls and submit..
Mike is as good as it gets.. Highly recommended!

EXACTLY!
Some may want to be assured and "pampered" to be comfortable but in the end, there is a little give an take on all these. A good salesman will pepper his sales pitch with flowers and all sorts of perfume and all you smell is fresh scents but if the end product is sh*t, then how? You praise the person for being good man but poor workmanship?
Then the other spectrum is like Mike..alittle aloof at the beginning, so if you dun knw him (like me), then have to really put trust in him like those forumers here who insist that he can deliver good work. Walk away and then wait for good work, just like you are waiting for surgery from a quiet no PR surgeon but then your loved one comes out alive and kicking.
But in my case, Mike was friendly to me when I collected my car and took time to show me the work done, made jokes, and also said Terry should be slapped sometimes. So in all, my experience was a good one, considering this was the 1st time I dealt with him.

terry, i not looking for discount, i looking for the 'compassion love care and concern..' haha
because i want to know more about the paint job, detail and process etc. as well as be assured he would treat my car with TLC.
