Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Ok. But the replies we have here are about gear change and steering.
How about suspension stiffness ? Is there SOFT , HARD & HARDER ?

Just tested at the exit of TPE to Pasir Ris Dr 12. Long right turn at 80km/hr n amber light liao. Cornering feels damn shiok n planted. Previously if go at 60-70km/hr to excute that turn I would end up from 2nd lane to 3rd lane n body roll bad. Now same lane zero body roll. Sart.

but wife slapped me for speeding at amber. Not very sart

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

U all can order from MA. Hendra has got some good deals cash n carry. Just get your own workshop to install for u...

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Ok. Installed mine this morning on my F10 523. Like the other bros said, there is not much difference when driving slow or straight.

At higher speed turning, you can feel the front end is more rigid. But it's not harsh in any way. However, because I'm lowered on kw coilovers before the ARB install, the body roll was very little to begin with, so I can't comment much about roll.

Will continue to monitor.

Thanks MW.

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Yes, must fast cornering. Try the KPE exit to TPE that long cornering stretch. Solid planted feel. Once on straight road, faster cover your left side face coz wife sure slap you.

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Mind sharing a good workshop for installation and the est cost.
Ordered, should be collecting tomorrow.
Thanks!

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Site sponsor should be able to install

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

For those interested, Maximus Racing does the installation at a pretty reasonable price.
Boss also test the car himself after the job.
Good service

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

How come all of you only beef up the front ARB ?
Shouldn't the rear ARB should also be upgraded to match front ?

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

because installing the rear ARB is PITA and costly

ie: for e90 the whole rear sub frame need to be lowered ...
inexperienced mech might actually dismantle the rear sub frame partially

It's because the F10 M5 rear ARB does not fit the other F10s. I read that the next suitable upgrade (OEM) is only 1mm thicker, so maybe not worth the effort.

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Oh, I saw the workshop dun have a hard time with my E60 rear so I tot its a piece of cake.

Re: Anti-roll bar for f10 535i

Had a chance to peep under my car when at Doc Rod's ws earlier and took this pic

F10 rear anti roll bar pathetically small
Maybe civic have a thicker bar below

Wonder why those after market parts maunfacturers still not come up with their antidote
Maybe cos they worry that FC will increase after installing their parts and owners KPKB
