As per the the topic suggests, which would you choose and why? RS 5 is nice and pretty, M3 is starting to look dated. But of course, the M3 still looks good enough to me. Maybe you would like to chime in your comments.

Hi,

I would love a M3 over the RS5 anytime.... handling is better... RS5 will be for the look n classier interior... ;) both are vy nice rides, if budget allows get a M3 convertible and RS5 coupe haha

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

if u like to hv sharper feel of handling, the M3 is the one to go for.
Other than that, RS5 wins in everything.

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

m3 look more fierce....

am i the only few who thinks the S5 coupe is nicer than RS5 ?

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

M3 for me..........

yes you are.

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

Apart from looks, two immediate observations when driving both the cars would be
- M-DCT feels more sporty, especially in S4/5; however the Stronic is smoother and less ponderous at very low speed, clutching is not noticeable
- M3 V8 is more vocal, more intense and peaky in nature; RS5 has more torquey but sound at higher rev lacks the urgency of the M3.

Oh yea one more thing, M3 feels more pointy, that sets it apart from the lesser 3er. For the RS5, I really cannot feel the difference in its steering feel from the lesser S5/S4. But that's just me. :p

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

if u want state of technology and looks, RS5..
M3 ride is definite more enjoyable overall with a lot to play with..
with 5 and 3 years warranty in comparison and coupled that in singapore, there aren't many straight roads, mostly city rides..M3 is one for me.

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

funnily, maybe its just me.
but audi cars look uncannily similar.
i cannot differentiate between a normal A4 to S5, or RS5 for that matter.

so in that light, go for M3.

Top Gear is reviewing RS5 against M3 ZCP today !! And it will take about 2 to 3 weeks before its gona be Aired in UK .... it will be ep 5 of series 16 (in UK)...so look out for it.....lotsa pple says TopGear is commercially driven and biased...but anyway, they may give u some pointers to think about ....personally, i would go for the M !!!! no 2nd tots...

There have been superb reviews from many car magazines regarding the Bmw E92 M3(won alot of comparison tests against other cars within it's level). And also I reckon it'd be pretty sweet to own, most probably, the last NA M car from Bmw .

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

Appreciate everyone's chiming in on your reviews with regards to both cars. :)

Thanks!

Re: Audi RS 5 vs E92 M3

RS5 is half a cycle later than M3..... the more appropriate comparison would be the RS5 against the M3 Comp.

I think it takes only one test drive to know which one you will fall in love with....... I did, and I already know.......
