Brand New Revised Version of the DR400G HD. The New DR400G HD V2 is a new improved version with the new added features:

Major difference between DR400G-HD & DR400G -HD II :

1) Much improved /Sharper mega pixel lens
2) Improved recording time (Higher compression technology)
3) Upgraded design and better cooling

Re: Blackvue?

Any one has bough the 400g v2? How much any idea?

Also, anyone tried DIY on e60 ?possible to hide wires?

Re: Blackvue?

Its available at about the same price as the old from my friend, I think ard S$360 (w/o install)

I think he has an older model going for S$320. As long as you dont run 24/7 I don't think it makes any difference. I've been using for the past 1+ year already.

Bro , did you installed one at the rear ? Mine is a F30

Installation to the back can be tricky, I suspect the wire is not long enough to reach a 12V socket. You probably need to tap power supply from fuse box. Better to get accessories shop to do this.

Re: Blackvue?

I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the support of Blackvue's official distributor.

I installed 2 sets of DR400 a few months ago from 833motosports (Bro st8800 recommendation, one of the authorised dealers) and recently I noticed the footage become foggy and I suspect the overheating issue.

I drop by 833 and after checking w the distributor, the boss arranged for me to exchange to the newer DR400 II (brand new set), no questions asked. I was told the newer design has improved the overheating issue. I also notice the footage is even clearer now. The product may have some problems but at least the support made it a painless experience.

is blackvue overheating problem solved?

I've the Blackvue HD II installed. The unit runs hot, especially when the car is parked under the hot sun, it's burning hot. So far, the video captured is still clear and good. I'll notify all of you if it breaks down in the future.
