Say with the $30k downpayment.

Loan amount $95k @ 1.88%
If i were to loan max the available time.
After driving it for 3 years if i decide to sell, will i incur losses?

Losses sure will have and it all depends whether it is more or less, moreover it depends on the economy ......also depends on the wear and tear fund in time to come (as we never know what will break down).........

Is it worth while to buy a Dec 2010 325i Coupe (M Package) @ 182k?
I have a few friends coming around to tell not to buy as the pricing is very steep.

Say if i loan for 9 years based on 178K. After 6 yrs... i sell it off, will have to top up with cash?
Or by then i should just scrap it away?

Quite dilemma now.. don't whether to buy or not...

If you dwell on pre-2010 prices, of course any price now is expensive. it's up to you... nobody can accurately predict if the COE market will go up or down, although my sentiments is that it will dip a little bit ($5-10K?) then continue to go up until at least 2014/2015.

I would advise you to wait a little bit for the new 3 series and decide what you want. If you buy a E90/92/93 now it will be depreciating in value the moment the 2012 3 series (F30) launches next year in SG. The 2 door versions will be scheduled for 2013.

Anyway, at 182K, why don't you whack a 523i at 190K?

the only way to lower depreciation cost is to take lesser loan
based on rule78 plan, the first 3 years installment are mainly paying interest only

nobody can advise u, unless they fortune teller. car here depreciates like mad. best is if you calculate if you can sustain the car in worst case scenario.

What would the repair cost & maintenance cost be like?
