BVO from the sponsor site. Look for ah wee.

The site sponsor workshops would be able to do that and a good place to start.

I did that just a month ago before I sealed the deal for a pre owned e90.

Re: Buying a 2nd Hand 3 Series

Just curious, when do you carry out the inspection? After you pay the deposit?

How much does it cost for the inspection?

Thanks!

Discuss with your seller and come to an agreement. For my case, one did not need the deposit and the other required it.

More importantly, discuss and agree with the seller what are the next steps for all outcomes of the inspection. E.g. To what extent are the outcomes considered immediate deal breakers? If there are immediate deal breakers, can you walk away from the deal and get the deposit refunded? Would faults be rectified or would a discount me given instead?

One site sponsor workshop quoted $60 per inspection but can only confirm availability an hour before desired appointment time.

I went with the other that quoted $80 but could allow me to make an appointment at both my seller and my convenience.

This is one good advice.

The cost of inspection and which workshop to use is smaller issues, what's more important is what to do about the diagnosed problems.....

I was looking at 323 too before I got a 320

It is very few used 323 in sgcarmart and condition ain't good

FC is suck and road tax also a killer

Acceralation loses to 320 but the power kick in later

335 may a better choice

Hi, am looking at a '07 323. Just wondering, how does acceleration differ between 323 & 320 & how big is the FC gap?

Doesn't make sense for anyone to get 323i then huh?

Combed thru whole sgcarmart for '07 & '08 325s...

Unfortunately, only 325 coupes & convertibles available....

:( :( :(

323 is still nonetheless a 6-potter though... Difficult decision.. esp in these tough economic times...

Hi! I'm looking at getting a 07 onwards e90 325i..

Would appreciate any advice on maintenance costs and such:)

Are there any prevalent problems with this model that starts to set in at this age? Read about o rings.. I'm kinda a little worried about transmission problems though.. :/

Hey Bro! I Just got mine 2mths back & its running fine till now!

Buying a car is like getting a wife, its like a gamble & a bit of luck!
On Maintenance wise, it's regular servicing & My personal advice is,it doesn't hurt to do a detail check on the parts car cause nowadays car dealers have lots of things up their selves.

Good luck in finding your next pride!
Cheers!!!

Hey Bro! I have a solution!
Get an e90 320i then head to monster tune to get a ECU tuning which costs 1k to 2k & there you got a powerplant which matches a 323i, Improving your FC & stuffs which will help cope tough economic times!!!

Good luck in finding your next pride!!!
Cheers!
