I'm a 520D F10 owner and I live in Indonesia. I just installed an M-kit front bumper (OEM) and I had a fitting issue. Did anyone have fitting issues?
After the garage removed the old bumper and tried to install the new one, the new bumper could not fit. There's a metal bar (reinforcement bar?) located behind the front bumper, that seemed to get in the way. Then the garage removed the bar, and the new bumper can fit.
Did anyone have the same problem?
What's the main purpose of this metal bar? Is it for safety?
Certainly I want the bumper to fit, but I also want to keep the metal bar in place. Any advice
?
(I tried to attach some pictures of the metal bar but it seems there is no options to do that. )
