We are glad to have prevented a BMW F10 from such adversity.

BMW model F10 520i are commonly subjected to this phenomenon. Although the engine oil and coolant each run its path but once the ageing plastic oil filter’s housing gets deteriorated due to heat exposure and once it cracked, the mixture of the coolant and engine oil will occur.

If that really happen, it will be quite messy to resolve as it will need repeated coolant flushing in order to get rid of all the engine oil in the engine cooling system.

We do strongly recommend that if you are having a plastic oil filter housing in your car make, get it replaced to the aluminium type as a preventive measurement!

The Differential is a special gearbox located between the drive wheels of your car. It allows the outer drive wheel to rotate faster than the inner drive wheel during a turn. This is necessary when the vehicle turns, making the wheel that is traveling around the outside of the turning curve roll farther and faster than the other.

Replacing the fluid will help to prevent premature wear on the gears in the differential and hence reduce the wear on drive wheel tires.

The water pump is the heart of the cooling system. The pump circulates coolant between the engine and radiator to keep the engine from overheating.

Inside the pumpis a metal or plastic impeller with blades that push the water through the pump. If the water pump is not working, the coolant will not circulate through the cooling system causing the engine to overheat and get severe damages.
