Actually warranty wise so far my past few bmw's all never claim anything before at all, but maybe becos never keep them for more than 2-3 years from new... so not sure how much salt the warranty is worth haha

planning to chip my ride immediately when i collect my ride in dec to unleash the n20's potentially so comparing which tune is best!!

I am using tmc tuning on 520i. Good enough for me. Look for greg at autostrasse.

the n20 in the 320 i meant

it has same engine same turbo as the 328 shouldnt be difficult to see a little crouching tiger hidden dragon from this 320

Not sure if 100-200 was meant to be an honest question or just sarcastic.

Anyway to answer the question, 100-200 timing will improve by leap and bound. Could be 10s or more of difference. 30-40hp increase might not sound much, but at higher speed, it really does make a very significant difference for a low power car. At lower speed, the difference might not be so significant. Only 2s-3s difference for 60-140km/hr pull.

Why only 60-140km/hr? Coz I no ball to hold camera while doing 100-200.

It's not exactly the same engine... Same bore and stroke, but the compression is different tells that the piston design is different and stuff... I read from F30post that the 2 different turbo are also different in the peak boost... 320 is around 14 PSI while 328 is around 17.9? can't remember offhand, but it's supposedly different

sometimes if you wonder why drivers of other marques see bmw drivers no up is becos they met ppl like this who like to look down on others with lower end cars compared to them. not sure if having a higher end car will compensate for down there?

Pre 2011 n20 engines there are differences. but not so now.
Anyway for the benefit of other 320i owners out there this is what ive found:

320 vs 328
Fuel injection system same
Intake manifold same
Compression ratio same
Turbo same

differences are the exhaust and gearing. Exhaust is smaller by 0.7", however the gearing is shorter for the 320.
So technically if the 320 has the same horsepower as the 328, the 320 would be faster due to the short ratios and final drive

if lets say you theres 2 processors one is 2ghz one is 2.4ghz but actually its the same thing just that the manufacturer to save costs detune it and price it lower to sell more units more higher revenue. instead of coming come with a new production line and whole new design for a 2ghz proc. you wouldnt want to unlock its potential?

U asked for 0-100 timings, I asked a relevant qn regarding 100-200. While comparing the 2ghz and 2.4ghz, I prefer the 2.4ghz, didn't knew stating my preference in this thread would attract such hostility from u. As for the name calling, rmb when u point a finger at someone, 4 are pointing back at u
