Thanks to all bros who have given me advice. I've finally decided to go for kw/v2
Mind sharing what swayed your decision? I'm in a similar situation.

Where did you order the KW V2 and how much is it going for?

Re: Coil or Stock

My question to TS is how does an original spring give problems? In our experience, the stock BMW springs are so high in quality that they do not sag visibly unless you have ill treated your car by severely overloading.

Re: Coil or Stock

If I were in your situation, I would go stock.

I hope you have used aftermarket suspension before.

Btw, MA can ship from MY (if available) in 1-2 days.

Well cos everyone told me oh KW not bad.. very good then from a few comments plus research i have decided to go with KW however the usage from us plays a important part as well. I used to have BC and Koni in my previous ride and everyone said it's good and lasting however when i installed it, it didnt last long too. haha maybe I am heavy.

NOw having said that, I had just changed to coil 2 days ago as i thought I heard someone saying not too bad and the price wise also quite reasonable so i went ahead. I have spent quite a bit so time to cut cost. I am currently on Rlogic

of course stock is the best bro but sometimes.... like my situation... emergency.. order stock takes 1 month odd and aftermarket 1 - 2 weeks.. so in the end..

I believed some people are anxious while some are on emergency basis so no choice

Bro.. my everyone is from workshop as well as postings and comments from the forum. haha can't remember which thread liao ;p

Re: Coil or Stock

I can tell you for sure the springs will never be worn, only the bump stops. I am indeed curious how can all 4 springs be different. By different, do you mean all 4 come from different brands? How do you know?

Re: Coil or Stock

well front 2 and rear 2 are all different springs and cut.

Re: Coil or Stock

see.. you have the same reaction as well like when I first saw and was told. haha.. not sure what the previous person did. Anyway ran a check with 3 workshops and none knows what brand as no brand and they were all amazed as well how and why did this happened. Anyway... me finally had my coil done as well as exhaust cos also had a mouldy exhaust tip lol...........

next thing will be rims and tyres as front using Dunlop Maxx while the back uses Michelin Pilot Sport 3. Champion right..

Sorry bros, can i ask
does anyone know what make are STOCKs? SACH BOGE or Bilstein?
I want to replace my stocks too. Dampering has deterioted
Workshop is recommneding Bilstein ...they say "about same as stock but very slight harder"

Any comments and suggestion? I am looking for stock ride

Re: Coil or Stock

stock is SACH BOGE
Bilstein is the B6. this goes with the stock springs.

looking for stock ride, SACH BOGE.

So far after i changed my, ride is so comfy while not compromising on the performance.

Re: Coil or Stock

Koni is pretty good since I tried it, bilstein b8 as mentioned by a friend is good enough with aftermarket spring.

Never managed to try kw on a e90 so no comment but try it on a 5 series n kwv3 is great!

I m on ohlins n I just love it as passenger or as driver.

In my opinion any aftermarket coil is good enough subjected to driver abuse, alightment, adjustment of the settings.

Enjoy lowered n eating corners n bends.

Re: Coil or Stock

Bilstein is harder........can be felt and cannot be adjusted.
