Some of the cluster freehold/999 houses I know of in D9, D10 or D11 are:

1. Ventura Heights
2. Estrivillas
3. Mt Sinai Residences
4. Grove Residences
5. Serenity Villa (near Henry Park)
6. Illoura
7. Watten Residences
8. Five Chancery

....all starting from about $5M upwards :(

Wah wobbles stay D10.

I pass by the cluster in Chatsworth road. Is it also freehold? Looks spacious.

Bro, no need to stay at D10 to know projects there - propertyguru saves the day. I think the chatsworth cluster is the Balinese design one ya? Very swee. Freehold, IIRC. Way out of my league....

Re: Current D10 Landed Property Prices?

Oh, I know of 1 more semi-D development in D10 - at Coronation Ave or Drive, near the Casabella condo - I think it's called 'Lotus'. One whole row of semi-Ds, very modern looking. TOP prob 2 years back? Agent was saying starting price 8-10M....

Looks like I'll be staying put where I am for a looooooong looooooooong time time :(

Nowadays nobody buying GCB liao....... All cheong semi-D or small bungalows

Actually, is freehold really that much better than buying 99years?

If you intend to sell eventually yes unless capital appreciation overcomes leasehold depreciation. If money is not that much of a concern and/or if you think you will stay there for eons, then so long as you like the environment, no biggie.

Hillcrest CMI - it's like rows of rows of terrace houses, squeezed into a plot of land. Quite claustrophobic. But the location is tok kong - right next to good schools - rental yield super good.

Yes, I am loaded... WITH TRANS-FAT

Alas, my bank account does not correspond to the size of my waist.

Bro, location itself is good but the traffic along Bukit Timah esp. with the schools is super CMI. May get better when Tan Kah Kee MRT opens up. Not sure about rental now but when I viewed, lots of owners trying to rent out.

Re: Current D10 Landed Property Prices?

Bro, I'm just chipping in my 2 cents to this thread - there's NO WAY I'm looking to buy... not at today's prices!

I believe it will be better once the MRT works are done. Other than BT rd, there are other ways of getting into the estate.

For investment lor, if buying for own stay and then passing down to own children over the next 50 years no matter where you buy most likely price will go up. Only depends on how much i guess. But then again I'm a d10 whore who likes d24 lew lians lol!

Re: Current D10 Landed Property Prices?

D10 freehold landed, if have sufficient funds, just buy. No looking back.
Landed property is not like condo because each plot is unique. Design, built quality, age, orientation, frontage, neighbors, etc are all different. It's not so much the price but also waiting for and picking a particular house that you like.
