F10 535i courtesy car offer is a camry??!!!

Am I the only only with steering wheel grinding sound issues??!!! In workshop for a total of 4 times total 7 days... today pick up from PML after 2 days in repairs.. they said solved... KNN grining sound still there... nothing solved.

I called them up after that.. then offer courtesy car??? so no shout at them no courtesy car???

tomorrow morning go bang table liao... anyone want to go down video tape and put on you tube as a guide for the bros here....

really really pissed....

Can you give more detail about this grinding sound?

They cannot resolve nvm. But don't treat their customers like they are idiots. In your case really waste everyone's time.

it's a kar -kar -kar... grinding sound... low tone but very distintive and extremely annoying!

occurs at low speed... less than 40km/h.. mostly on left steers

first 10 mins in the morning when car is cold.. no sound...

Had a foreign guest in the car a few days ago and was "suan" .. he asked me how long i never service car already!!!! Car is barely six months old!

I don't think i am being unreasonable right?

I just want it solved... they can take all the time they want.. they have wasted enough of mine. I just want a COMPARABLE replacement car.

F20 116i courtesy car is Ford Mondeo......

Seems like PML is running out of BMW courtesy cars due to large number of "Lemons".

I had the same noise issue as yours.. Also, it occurs when slightly tap on the brake when turning left. I encountered this problem only after upgrading with 20' wheels.. too bad mine is PI car and under TWM warranty... I don't even have a table to bang...:p

mine is fully stock! 18" with runflats.... don't think is rims

My intention is to reach settlement with PML.. if not it's straight to BMW Asia...
I have cleared my day's schedule to make sure both PMl and BMW understands my pains LOUD and CLEAR

How about try going to MA, intend to do my servicing there after so many news abt pml

Upz for you. Be firm. Tell them exactly what you want and ask them for a meaning resolution.

I had been using stock 17" for more than a month until replacing with 20" and this issue exhibited.

Anyway, please keep us update if (how) they have fixed the issue. Thanks heap!

I went to Munich first.... no help there...
They are helpful bunch but lacking in experience.. if u know the exact problem.. they can help..
But if troubleshooting.. they lack experience..

I will go there and do minor servicing... anything major it's back to pml...
my logic is that PML took my money.. not munich.. if I bang table.. it's definitely with the PML...
if not I might as well buy PI and save truck loads of money

yup...
They had a similar grinding sound.. but is due to the ARS pumps.. but my ride does not have dynamic drive as such no ARS...

I have browse through service bulletins / SIB and nothing comes up related to mine issue.

Bro, test drive a similar model at PML if u can to confirm if problem exists on that test car. Sometimes some sounds are inherent.

maybe u wanna try switching back to 17 and see if there's anymore sound....assuming u still have your old rims n tyres

done... grinding sound only on my lemon car... the PML tester confirms it!

okie....reason enough to bang table but eh 8.30am too early....haha....think go have breakfast bang table at 9 or 9.30 better when everyone's in, including their managers
