For me, if it doesn't affect me and the owner get a little thrill with what they do with their own property....
ok, I give you an example. Cheapen is one word to use. The other way to see it is that it creates confusion among those who are looking for accurate information. If you look at a rebadged 330 or whatever, and if it is the first time you see that type of car, then you will have a lasting impression of the car as such. Now when you come across another 330, this time the real one, I am sure that you will notice the differences and ask yourself, why the differences.

As for cheapening the car, I dun depend on the actions of others to value my stuff. UDMs have their handling prowess to sell itself to a car enthusiast.

Its just something that makes a person happy.... We must admit though that many times in our lives we have seen things that we like and want the same as well. Be it a house renovation or dinner plates or even dress sense... I am almost certain there is something somewhere part of our lives that we have copied or wanted to look like something else...

For the record, I badged my 318 as 328 last time and I am not ashamed of it. Its my car and it makes me feel good. Where got such thing as ethics?? Its still a BMW wat. Ethics is involved ONLY if u take a "3" from a bro and say u lost it but in fact u go and put "330". Thats ethics.
When I went around looking for a "2" to switch my "1", I did tell those I approached what I wanted to do..ask Ivan and Cal.
