we all know they just want to protect margin, so that even if COE crash is still same price... ?

I'm sure they can, but whether that erodes what little competitiveness left (if any) is something for them to be mulled on.

OMV ballpark is already known by now. Good day.

1. property appreciates over long term.

2. Cars depreciate to scrap by 10yrs, so cash back at 10yrs is based of reduced PARF, so it affects 2nd hand price also, that is y OMV is impt. If buyer feels too much premium over OMV, then at least he can decide to buy something which wont lose so much on paper. It helps to have higher OMV when negotiating resale/tradein price

Agreed.
Tat is why my point is omv so long within market range, its fine.

Good decision on that...the economy is probably gg technical recession in q3 and 4..sub 2 percent growth expected next yr..

M5 is a beast..just a pity it doesnt look radically different from the normal 5 series...not much distinction..

I almost picked up the phone and make an appointment to head to place booking this noon. Luckily, i somehow managed to hold myself back :p

And the truth is I am merely answering your question, and providing more info as all would. Truth again that many questions about OMV once asked, the next question would be PI said OMV this or that. I am just trying to answer your question to my best, and as well provide more information for you to consider the car. Maybe the best answer for you would be the M5s that are coming into MA are almost 90% spec up. Today if you walk into Porsche, you find the base price or list price of all cars lower than you would expect, than you spec it up to your liking and you realise, you're paying another 30-40K more. If you walk into Ferrari, it would be 100k or more...

You mentioned something about the M5 costing around $498,000. Is it a firm price for people ordering now? COE rebate level? What is the booking fee?

The question is to you, a representative of Munich Auto. Don't jump to conclusions and start talking about PIs. Please be focused. If I want to know more about PIs, I'll go ask them.

To summarise, you're saying the car is priced around half a million without an OMV ballpark. Strange you can price cars without an OMV ballpark.

i thought your question was answered.

you the "la sai" type is it?

Re: F10 M5 Availability

clar:
The list price is $498,800.
This price is with the almost 90% specs included. Again those who wants the specs and brochures can pm me an email address and I can send it to you. :)

Now price is with a guaranteed coe. Which brings me to answer your question that there is no coe rebate amount. MA does not have the practice of a minimum coe. However if coe goes up, MA do not ask customers to top up an amount.

Now something which I feel is beautiful in MA is the warrenty/service both before and after. Those who have a M by now would know, but those who don't would be please to know that our warrenty is for 5years 100,000km whichever comes first. During this period the servicing is covered by us as well, free if you would put it. Now this extends to even pads and rotors, no tires however. Servicing is also quick and does not take forever to be in que. Usually you book a day before, you send car down the next day, it gets done and washed, and there you go. Note to non M customers, you are free to service your cars at our centre as well. We do not turn away non M cars. :)

Another thing one would find interest in or be pleased to know is our ability to customise. When you visit the showroom do take a look at some of the pre delivery or customers car's, you'll find that each car has its own identity and character, defined by the owner, you :)

Ok I've shared alot however back to the topic of the M5. Let it be known that the deadline for the M5 first production has ended. IF anyone wants to come in now, there is a chance to squeeze in the order by Monday, however after that, they would fall into second production.

Again, anyone who needs more accurate and detailed information please visit us at the showroom, give us a call, or drop me a pm. :)

I'm glad that you said that the true omv is known once the car arrives in Singapore.. Apparently my Munich M3 wasn't hor though I bought the car in aug and car was already in since feb.. :)

Having read your other thread, I now understand what you said. Actual OMV known upon arrival, and ballpark OMV is definitely known before. Without that, you cannot price and plan sales. I guess some people think M owners are not savvy or gullible.

All the best.

aren't all M's look indifferent? that's the beauty of understatement...
other than big ventilated brake discs; no fog lights but air intake to cool the brakes; hump on the hood; quad exos and more importantly speed rush to match the loudness, M marked side grille; etc etc..

Re: F10 M5 Availability
