F10 Newbie wants to upgrade rims

Hi guys,

i will be collecting my F10 in a couple of weeks time and 1st thing i would like to do is to upgrade the wheels. Few things on my head :

1) Is it advisable to go straight from 17 inch to 19 inch?
2) Any good dealer i can go to for Vossen or Breyton?
3) Do they do trade-in if i drive straight from collection to the workshop?
4) Finally, what is the estimated damage (after trade-in)?

Can't wait for the car to arrive....

tomsin2000, if you listen to Jonleec you won't go wrong, he is the F10 rims guru in BMWSG.
Oh tyres guru too....!

Sophisto Grey exterior and cinnamon brown interior.

For looks, might as well go 20s, given the huge wheel arches of F10.

Rest of the questions, you have to do your own research.

I would go for a set of FORGED (stamped) wheels for structural strength.

Check with reputable tyre shops for wheel/tyre prices / trade-in prices - the likes of Leong Seng, Hurry, Top93....

To me, it is an upgrade if the entire package is lighter and bigger than stock.

If for look only, must be cheap & big. Do take note of the pot hole (which is increasing by the days).

U can go to top 93 n choose ur rims already. Once ur car is here then drive in n trade the rims. U can pre arrange the terms n price of stuff with ah yang first. Cheers.
