Wts. Low Euro then BMW Asia dunno how to reduce the prices... :screwedu::screwedu:

Even Apple themselves can drop the Macbook prices here due to weak US$.

The MacBook prices have been dropping even in the US. The old MacBook white used to be US$1099, now is US$999. And it's not like you can fly to UK and dabao a BMW home. What about shipping and insurance?

Yup. And for the World's most desired company that has a fixed pricing that sticks like glue and will not drop it's price until the next gen, but can drop due to the weak US$.

But bmw asia or pml didnt drop its prices.... Or maybe they just did it by recently giving super high overtrades and discounts? :shakemyb::shakemyb:

Re: F10 @ ppml

Just went to check the prices in sgcarmart and the E-class E200, which is selling the same price as the basic bmw 523i, E200's omv is 54k. WTF!!!

Re: F10 @ ppml

so how much is pml selling for the F10 after all the O/T?

BMW AsIa is the importer of BMW cars & motorcycles in Sg. Both PML and Munich are distributors. So, only BMW Asia can determine the OMV.

Ya la, I dun expect my agent to do much on paper value... Jus wanna use this excuse to press for more discount! hahaha... They are super good actors n actresses... If they quit, they shld join mediacorp... Talk deal with them minimum 3hrs...

Precisely... that what i said to my PML agent... I dun think its becos of weak euros only as E200 has OMV of 60k compared to F10 of 40k... BMW AG's profit margin is higher compared to Damien Chrysler

Quite a few as follows:

1. Sports steering with pedal shift
2. Dynamic driving control
3. 12GB hard disk
4. Reverse camera
5. Office software in navigation system professional

My specs sheet has all the above except the Dynamic Drive Control. ? Was yours a car already in the showroom that you booked? I saw a few with the sold sign on the dashboard on Sunday.

No. Its not a showroom model which probably came with better discounts. Chose a T/silver with C/Brown. I don't think they had any Mar production cars in the showroom over the weekend though. It was also not available for test drive as yet cos the only Tasman coloured unit was awaiting registration.

Re: F10 @ ppml

wahahaha ... after 12 pages, the one complain that circles a big round is low OMV !

As long as it is not a new model in the market, it is not a problem. Problem only comes from LTA. There are ppl in this forum that went thru it. Drove the car for 3 yrs & sold off already.

Re: F10 @ ppml

like i said, it's risk management. self import a toyota or 3er... maybe not. if it's a high value car like porsche, why not?

Some1 on this forum did self import E93 335. Higher value = higher risk.

will you go and import a $2 item knowing it costs $3 at the supermart? only when the differential is large enough would you go and risk it to make the gains worthwhile.
