F10 viewing

Today went down to view the new F10, here is my OWN opinion, dont flame me hor. Something is wrong with the front headlight, it just doesnt suit the car. Anyone here went down to view the new F10?

It is ugly. I would rather buy a Corolla

Yes from the aesthetics perspective its doesnt suit the car at all, in short is ugly, MW say one. Looking at the old 5 series, as per the how lian above 5 series pic. The front headlight is much bigger and matches the car but not the new F10. Did u manage to view in person?

i saw 3 of those long trucks with the F10 on them in pandan this afternoon. Didnt really get a good look but 1st thing that came to my mind was yes, the headlights. Can't really pinpoint why but they do look at bit too narrow and small...

I've seen it today too. Didn't have the WOW effect on me. IMHO, it really looks like a smaller 7. Agree that the headlights are too small, a bigger cup size will make it looks better.

But then again, it's the latest 5, and I believe the design will grow on you after some time.

Oh ok, I understand now. I find the grill more challenging to look at than the lights. Look closely, it protrudes too much. The lights a bit droopy.

To me, in terms of handsome-ness, the E92 is in first place for overall looks. The F01 is most handsome sedan. Enduring presence.

The E39 and E60 are classic. Still look so fresh and nice today. Anyone with a well-maintained E39 and E60, should keep it.

I hope the F30 design will be more creative.

The F10 is longer than E60, but narrower.

from the internet pictures, it looks ok to me.

But pictures are pictures, nothing beats the real stuff in front of your eyes.

Nope, didnt have a chance to see it and i am really keen to catch a glimpse of it someday....maybe today while i drink snake soup.

regardless of how it looks, i predict that this logo alone will ensure that the F10 will sell in great volume in singapore..

I dunno what's with the new cars' designs....

F10's eyes look funny with that eye lid look..... and those elephant ears..... I thought they would have changed to the rounded mirrors as in the e92's......

Then again, the new E class, the front headlight cluster is split. Rear brake light clusters look like it stole Hyundai Elantra's design.

And the Panamera....... like a pariah between a Carrera and a Crossfire......

These two years, I think Audi designers have the best tastes.............

BMW and Mercs moving towards squarish/boxy design...Audi still quite curvy.....

the big mirros r of no fault theirs. again some EU requirement to have bigger side mirrors. hence the LCI models have huge mirros compared to the pre LCI.

the big wing mirrors are part of the new regulation in motor vehicle industry....so expect that to be standard in every single model of car...
a noticeable diff is also seen in Porsche ranges such as Boxster, Cayman n 911 ....same housing shape in the PDK models but it's much bigger than the non PDK ones

You guys are missing a point. Yes, big mirrors are part of regulatory requirements.......

BUT CAN'T THEY MAKE IT NICER?

I am not talking size. I am talking SHAPE.

So the M3's and e92's are not TUV compliant?

The LEDs light yes..A4 copy A6 yes...A5/S5 a bit different...very curvy.. Q5 nice..Q7 also nice. R8 nice (but prefer Ferrari)
Audi TT..nice..(me looking for one if the seller hit my price..then got another car liao)
